Always a surprisingly pleasant experience given the fact that every time I go I’m getting some type of minor surgery. The front desk and technicians are all very professional and kind. The doctor (Andrew Miller) is knowledgeable and personable. And best of all, they are SO QUICK. I never wait in the lobby, and once they take me back they tend to me immediately. I’ve had probably 8 appts with them that have all gone like that. I’d recommend them to anyone in the Philly area.

Very welcoming and caring . Dr Nordone gave me a brief introduction about the steps of my surgery ,The local anesthetic that he gave me was very effective. He did my surgery with a drawing of my own blood to separate the plasma in a centrifuge and this is the golden standard to preserve and maintain the bone for healing . I was done and out in 45 minutes with 15 minutes of it spent socializing with him and his warm and caring staff . i am writing this 24 hours later and I am pain free . Excellent job Dr. Nordone and staff .
Thank you very much

I am deathly afraid of the dentist and I had to get a wisdom tooth removed and I was totally freaked out. The staff was wonderful, patient and nice. Dr. Nordone was the absolute best! He is funny and he definitely brought my nerves all the way down. He explained everything as he went and he was quick and efficient! Definitely recommend!

I was scheduled for a consultation. The office is difficult to find. In addition, I was turned away for not having a physical referral.
The visit was for a wisdom teeth extraction consultation. It is unnecessary to require a referral for wisdom teeth extractions. There is nothing special about that kind of procedure. If the office is going to require a physical referral, they should call and confirm that patients have it prior to their consultation.

The staff is friendly, professional and courteous. Dr. Miller is the best in the business! He is knowledgeable, professional, concerned about his patients and is available to answer any questions, concerns or needs that may occur prior to and after surgery. I trust his judgment, skill and abilities when it comes to performing implant surgical procedures.

About Pennsylvania Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Ltd
Pennsylvania Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery, part of Pennsylvania Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Centers, operates a location at 1601 Walnut Street, Suite 215, in Center City Philadelphia. The practice focuses on oral and maxillofacial surgery, including wisdom tooth removal, dental implant placement, and full arch restoration options such as All-on-4, which uses four implants per arch to support a complete set of replacement teeth while typically reducing treatment and recovery time. Patients considering implants can expect a surgical team trained specifically in procedures involving the jaw, mouth, and facial structures, working alongside restorative dentists to plan and place implants.
The Walnut Street office is one of several Pennsylvania Oral Surgery and Dental Implant Centers locations across the Philadelphia area, and it serves patients from Center City and the surrounding neighborhoods who are looking for a dedicated oral surgery practice rather than a general dentist for their implant care. The practice's website describes a team-based approach where oral and maxillofacial surgeons handle the surgical placement of implants, including cases that involve bone grafting or full arch replacement. Patients weighing dental implants at this location should ask directly which surgeon or surgeons see patients at the Walnut Street office on the day of their consultation, since doctors may see patients across multiple practice locations.
Meet the Doctors
The practice's clinical team includes Dr. Michael A. Bianchi, Dr. Andrew D. Miller, Dr. Thomas P. Nordone, Dr. Andrew L. Kanter, Dr. Jason H. Huffman, Dr. Joseph F. Kern, Dr. Eric Schlesinger, Dr. Anthony M. Bianchi, and Dr. Michael S. DeSalvo. Because the practice operates multiple locations, patients should confirm which surgeon will see them at the Walnut Street office when scheduling a consultation.
