First Visit to PerioCare for a Tooth Implant
A Friendly and Confidence-Boosting Experience -
Introduction
I recently visited PerioCare for my first tooth implant consultation. Going in, I felt a mix of nerves and curiosity, unsure of what to expect from such an important dental procedure.
Staff Experience
The moment I stepped through the door, the staff greeted me with genuine smiles and kindness. Everyone at the office made me feel welcome, answering all my questions clearly and patiently. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my initial consultation was completely free, which made the process even more approachable and stress-free. Their informative approach helped me understand every step and eased my worries.
Surgeon Interaction
Dr. Mehul H. Gadhia, DMD, MSP, was wonderful. He had a positive and reassuring demeanor, taking the time to explain the implant process thoroughly. His friendly attitude and clear communication made me feel comfortable and confident about moving forward. I appreciated his patience and willingness to address all my concerns.
Overall Impression
My experience at PerioCare left me feeling grateful and confident about my dental health. The kindness and knowledge of the staff, along with Dr. Gadhia’s reassuring presence, made a big difference. Wonderful experience- staff were very friendly. Dr Gadhia treated us like family- gave us options- breaking the plan into doable steps- keeping in mind what the long term goals were and cost differences available. We would recommend his practice. Laurie and William Woidyla

I had to have an implant done with Dr. Gadhia and it went really well. What stood out to me the most was the dedication and care that Zoey provided me from the first second of my consultation to the second that she helped me get into the passenger seat of my car with my husband after the surgery. She went through everything so thoroughly, and set my mind at ease about everything. Since I live an hour away from his office, in Mooresville, she helped me to figure out when I should see my dentist in Huntersville instead of having to drive all the way back to Dr. Gadhia’s office, and then she communicated with my dentist office so they knew exactly what was going on with my procedure and future appointments. It’s rare to find someone who truly cares and goes above and beyond what they are paid to do these days in their jobs, but Zoey is a truly passionate nurse and coordinator who deserves a raise, if I do say so myself! She keeps that office running smoothly and gets the patients in and out of there with compassion and deep care. She is a rare gem, and Dr. Gadhia is extremely blessed to have her on his team! She does it all, very clearly and efficiently. Thank you so much, sweet Zoey! You made my time there so much easier than I’d predicted, and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for EVERYTHING. May God bless you as you continually bless others!🙏🏼❤️😘

Beautiful office, wonderful staff, as they all were very knowledgeable and kind. I really liked Dr. Gadhia, the periodontist. He explained everything very well and took his time discussing it with me.
As a retired Dental Hygienist, I know what to look for in offices and I was very pleased with this office.

Pros
The office is clean and inviting.
The Dr and staff friendly and knowledgeable. They make a not so good appointment tolerable.
Opportunity
I would have preferred on the day of the scan (verify the gum and bone were ready), for the office to have combined the scan with enough time for the next procedure. If the scan was not good then reschedule the next step in the future. Otherwise keep progressing so yet another appt on another day would not have been needed. Gas and time off work would have been reduced!!!

PerioCare is a periodontal and dental implant practice located in the Ballantyne area of south Charlotte, North Carolina, at 15015 Lancaster Highway. Meet the Doctors
Dr. Mehul H. Gadhia, DMD, MSP, is the periodontist at PerioCare. He is a native of Orlando, Florida, who attended college at the University of Central Florida and dental school at Nova Southeastern University, College of Dental Medicine. He completed his periodontology residency and earned a master of science in periodontology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Dr. Gadhia is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology.
