My daughter had to have all 4 wisdom teeth removed. The lady at the desk was very informative on what she should and shouldn't do, so she could have a better healing experience. Then the dr told her everything he was going to do, he was kind, and made sure she didn't have any questions. Then the girls in the back made her feel comfortable and keep her mind off everything so she wouldn't be worried or scared. Overall best experience we could ask for. They are great, friendly, and caring.

Phenomenal experience! Need an oral surgeon? Go here!
Prior to coming here, I was referred to another oral surgeon, which was a horrible experience. I found out about Dr. Caldemeyer while seeking a second opinion and was referred to him. I must say the staff here at Plateau Oral and Facial Surgery are great and actually have personalities, and they actually care. My wait time here was about half a minute for both my consultation and my wisdom teeth extraction procedure. Dr. Caldemeyer really cares about his patients and will answer any questions or concerns you may have. My previous oral surgeon at another facility in town was the complete opposite of the positive experience I had here. This place is awesome! I highly recommend Dr. Caldemeyer and his team!

June 26th at 9 am I had 20 teeth extracted and full dentures put in my mouth. I'm not sure how this is even possible but day 3 and I have had zero pain. The Dr and staff are kind fantastic people. I highly recommend them.

I had my wisdom teeth removed a week ago and it was the best experience I could have hoped for! The staff and team are absolutely wonderful- they’re kind and welcoming. It’s very low stress and easy! Absolutely recommend to anyone needing any facial or oral surgery!

This is the absolute best dentist u can go to in Crossville. I was afraid of doing this surgery and this team made me comfortable and took great care of me. Answered any and all questions. Use this dentist u won’t regret it.

Plateau Oral & Facial Surgery is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice at 765 East Veterans Drive in Cookeville, Tennessee, with additional offices in Crossville and McMinnville. Dental implants are a core part of the practice. The office places implants to replace a single missing tooth, several teeth, or a full upper or lower arch, and offers implant supported overdentures and a Teeth-in-an-Hour approach. Meet the Doctors
Plateau Oral & Facial Surgery is led by Dr. Cortland Caldemeyer, an oral and maxillofacial surgeon who took over the practice from its founder in August 2015. He earned his dental degree at Indiana University School of Dentistry, completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Yale University School of Medicine, and later completed an accredited fellowship in facial cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Caldemeyer is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and is a member of the American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery. He is on staff at Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
