I’ve had several dentists over the years: Dr. Walrond is one of the very best. I have complete confidence and peace of mind with him. He is an exceptional dentist-professional, skilled and genuinely caring.
While I am happy for him as he moves toward retiring, I know his patients and friendly, competent staff will miss him.
I trust his professionalism and dedication to patient care to ensure we will be left in good hands.

I personally have nothing against this place except for the fact that they offered me a FREE consult, with a scan,(or maybe I should say scam) that was included, FREE to see if I was a candidate for an implant! The receptionist, Emily, who is no longer there, finally got me in with Dr Waldron when he came back from vacation, so I saw him in Oct.
After my visit with him I found out that he was getting ready to retire very soon and another dentist would be coming in behind him! I had no idea, or I would have looked for another dentist! Imagine my surprise when I received a bill for $700!!!
Well, believe it or not they decided to charge me for my FREE CONSULT!!?? I know that Dr Waldron has always had a good following and reputation, and I even have family members that are friends with him! I never could find out what really happened because they wouldn't give me any info! When I found another specialist I told them I'd like to have my x-ray so they said they would put it on a disc and I could pick it up, but to keep in mind that I owed $717.00!!
What a laugh, cuz it would be a cold day in hell before they would ever see a dime, because that was wrong to begin with, and it was free anyway! Guess I should have reported them to the board of dentistry for trying to run that scam on me, however, I decided to let it go, and not upset myself, cuz it's not worth it!! And obviously they don't believe in giving the PATIENT the benefit of the doubt, no matter the circumstances!!!

You can be assured that all these positive reviews were when Dr. Scott Walrond & all of his staff were there to take care of patients like they were family!
Since the practice was purchased & is now known as “Pleasant Garden Dental” the only smile you will see will be from Dawn, the ONLY employee that is still there! No longer are you greeted by smiling & friendly faces, now you walk in & you are the only one in the lobby & there is one receptionist & she will totally ignore you as you stand right in front of her as if she is trying to prove that she will acknowledge you when she is ready; which may be 2-4 minutes! No smile, no friendliness, just “ what is your name?” Never had to answer that question before, been a patient there since Dr. Fields was a dentist, so 65 years & every family member has been a patient here since they were a child!!
You can believe you will not walk out that door until your bill is Paid In Full. I saw several people, as I sat in the lobby, get quite the surprise when they were told they had to pay the total bill before they left! These people have come here for years & maybe had to make a payment or two, but their bill was always paid!
There are ways to treat people & then there are ways people don’t like to be treated & our family speaks from personal experience, it’s bad from the time you walk in until the time you walk out the door!! Good Luck on getting your records sent to a new dentist!

I called and scheduled an appointment for a cleaning. I admit I have not been in more than 2 years. After I made my appointment I realized Dr Walrund was no longer there. I called back days later and canceled. They then told me I owe more than $500. I question this since I haven't been. Im waiting for a statement. All of what you see on their web page is not true. Dr Walrund and most if not all of the staff is gone. Buyer beware. This doesn't seem right.

I have been a patient for 22 years. As of the recent purchase, I feel this practice has lost some of its uniqueness. The front receptionist is not a great 'people person.' You will not get the warm greeting from her. She is not a "Virginia."
My bill was also raised, even without any x-rays. I sure love my hygienist, but I may have to consider finding another practice closer to my home.
