I chose this practice because of their strong reputation in biomimetic dentistry, and I can genuinely say that I left each visit feeling more educated and aware of my dental health.
Dr. Samaha's knowledge is impressive.
The office itself is peaceful, and the hygienist I saw was absolutely wonderful, skilled, and someone I truly felt cared for.
That said, my experience was mixed.
If I saw the hygienist, I knew I was going to be there for 60-90 minutes. Otherwise, every appointment I had lasted anywhere from 2–4 hours. This is not an exaggeration. Every. Appointment.
My treatment plan was discussed multiple times, and each consultation stretched past three hours. The staff were always kind, but there was a noticeable tension in the office due to long wait times and the constant delays as everyone waited for the doctor to make her rounds. It sometimes felt like the team was doing their best within a stressed structure.
Financially, the proposed treatment plan was over $21,000 out of pocket, with the hope that insurance might reimburse some portion afterward. For me, that level of cost and uncertainty wasn’t feasible. I also struggled with the amount of fear-based language used in the consults. It left me feeling more anxious than empowered.
After 6+ months and a few thousand dollars, I left the practice with two bonded teeth, a hole between them, one tooth extracted, and a lot of valuable education on better dental care.
Ultimately, I decided not to continue treatment at this location. Which was a total bummer. I appreciated the thoughtful handwritten note from Dr. Samaha asking for a review and for me to consider coming back. I was raised, if you don’t have nothing nice to say- keep quiet. But, I do believe this is a good practice for someone who values biomimetic dentistry, has the financial flexibility to invest in comprehensive treatment, and doesn’t mind long appointment times. There is good work being done here. But if time, cost, or a reassuring style of communication are priorities for you, it may be helpful to know what to expect going in.

This is an office is remarkable.Office staff is well trained and operate at a high level of service. Dr. Samaha is known for her wisdom in diagnosing potential health risks and formulating treatment plans for potential health issues. She is kind, compassionate, and relates well to her patients. I am impressed with the caliber of medical equipment and the staff’s knowledge of using it. From basic cleanings to oral surgery they strive to teach and explain every step of your care. I did not know our mouths held such detailed markers to the body’s overall health. Port Warwick Dental Arts and the dedication of staff here places them in a league of their own. They have my highest recommendation.

It saddens me to have to update and drop them down in a review. I fully believe in their service and would have done anything to go back to continue working with them however if you are a former patient their customer service and response is not the same as when I was currently using them. There is an issue with my claims being filed and I messaged them to ask for an update and they have yet to respond when before hand I would receive messages same day. Also, be aware that when using them you will have to pay your bill in full upfront then they file with your insurance. I have been waiting on my insurance reimbursements since Aug and it’s not in my insurance claim system. So either they didn’t file my claims are my insurance lost things but I have claims on insurance before and after the at do not deal with them already cleared in the system. Which I find suspicious. Unless they change the way the treat former patients I will only give them 2.5 stars. It doesn’t matter if they aren’t providing service to me at the moment I would have found away to work with them again unfortunately I doubt I will unless their correct their behavior.
Update: thankfully they listened to my needs and communicated with someone I needed. The issue is resolved.
Have had a wonderful experience going here. I am glad I decided to give holistic dentistry a try. It may be holistic but she uses up to date technology to make the process easier for someone like me who struggles with anxiety. 10/10

Thorough. Dr. Samaha and her team were amazing and I’m so grateful to have found them since holistic dentists can be difficult to find. It’s worth every penny to get their insight on your over all health and how the condition of your mouth plays into it. Looking forward to treatment with her team and the upcoming healing journey!
