I can not say enough about this surgeon and his staff. Dr Sarka is just amazing! Very kind and caring. Down to earth and personable. I have major dentist anxiety and I didn’t need my anxiety meds. I needed 9 teeth out to get dental clearance for surgery. I have very very minimal pain. I have no swelling or bruising.
The whole office is fantastic. The receptionists were just as kind and caring. They are all very friendly, caring and knowledgeable. I highly recommend!!!

Dr. Sarka and his team were amazing! I had 3 wisdom teeth removed and felt really relaxed and confident throughout the process because I could tell I was in good hands. The front office staff was great as well. I definitely would recommend Dr. Sarka and I look forward to working with him and his team in the future if needed.

I was referred here from another dentist. I was in a time crunch as I needed other surgery. I was given a date but was able to slip into a cancelation spot the very next day. Everyone was very nice and informative. I would highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Sarka and his team are amazing. His expertise and care are very obvious. I was very nervous about a procedure and he and his staff put me at ease and were great. They came highly recommended by my dentist at Thrive Dental. I highly recommend them as well.

Meet the Doctors
Dr. Gregory V. Sarka, D.D.S., M.D., is the oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Portland Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. A graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and an Army veteran, he earned his dental degree from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco and went on to earn his medical degree and complete his oral surgery training at the University of Pittsburgh. Dr. Sarka is board certified as a diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and is a fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American Society of Dental Anesthesiology. He is a member of the American Dental Association and Maine Dental Association, serves as president of the Maine Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, was appointed to the Maine Dental Board, and holds privileges at Maine Medical Center in Portland and Maine General Hospital in Augusta.
