I cannot support this dental group enough. After having a really bad experience with 6 horrible fillings at another office (one fell out same day and the repairs that they attempted didn’t work and they bothered me if years)
Dr. Kang repaired them all. I didn’t have to come back and get them adjusted either which is a first for me! Perfection!
The dental hygienists are incredible, they leave you with literally nothing on your teeth. They know how to talk to you so you aren’t stuck feeling like you need to respond with their hands in your mouth. They know when to take breaks and give you the education that you need.
They take the time to write down specific things about you in their chart so they have talking points that are specifically about you and it feels really nice to feel like they remember everything about you. Costumer service is a 20/10.
I saw Dr. Craig today for the first time today and I can see that this attentiveness and compassion is a practice wide philosophy.
I am throughly impressed every time I go. As long as they’ll have me I’ll keep coming to them. I also recommend every one of my friends and family members to make an appointment.

Wonderful staff! Caring and compassionate! Dr Steichen is incredible! He truly listens to your concerns and addresses them without judgement or criticism! I would highly recommend Precision Dental Care for ALL your dental needs!

Had a nasty toothache this AM and my phone was suddenly non-functional. I drove to the Precision office and Dr Kang, Amy, and the rest of the great Precision team got me checked out, discussed treatment options with me, and got me well taken care of. It didn't matter to them that I had no appointment and arrived unexpectantly. I'm one of their regular patients and they made sure I was taken care of. Their concern and care just couldn't be any better! Highly recommend Dr Kang and the Precision team.

I am sooooo happy to have decided to do all my major dental work here! From the start I was treated with so much kindness and understanding. I had gone elsewhere and felt judged and really embarrassed of how much dental work I needed. Not here everyone from check in to the back is truly amazing. I am surprised at how well I felt leaving the office today after having major work done. I recommend it here a million percent!!!!!!

Painless! I have an extremely low pain tolerance. Dr. Kang removed a tooth that was broken at the root. The tooth came out in multiple tiny pieces. I never felt anything! He is so patient and kind. Entire staff is pleasant. Finally, I am not nervous about dentist appointments!

Meet the Doctors
Dr. Craig T. Steichen, DDS, has practiced dentistry in Albuquerque since 1988, caring for families as they have grown over the years. He earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri in Kansas City after completing his undergraduate education in biological sciences at the University of New Mexico. He has received additional training in implant procedures, cosmetic dentistry, periodontal surgery, and laser therapies, and he is a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, the American Academy of Facial Esthetics, the American Dental Association, and the Albuquerque District Dental Society.
Dr. Chunwoo Kang, DDS, joined the practice after completing his residency in general dentistry at the University of New Mexico. He moved from South Korea to Albuquerque in 2003, attended the University of New Mexico for his undergraduate studies, and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery with honors from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Nebraska. Dr. Kang works alongside Dr. Steichen and continues his education in restorative dentistry, dental surgery, root canal care, and dental implants.
