The Office staff eases intrepidation with a warm welcome Making you feel that you are their invited guest that they have been waiting for and Happy to see.....Dr. Gams included, and his assistant Caitlin..He had such an Energeticly Positive way of inspiring Confidence in the outcome of the Dreaded Procedure with a thoroughly kind and caring understandably knowledgeable Explanation of the problem and its pending remedy..and he Encouraged Questions and rendered so much Assurance that he would make sure I would feel no pain. Both he.and his assisant spoke Clearly and so Audibly..making me feel relaxed and cared about because I didn't at all sense they wanted to rush me through it..instead, I felt Genuine Concern for my Fears and Welfare..and his assistant kept my mind occupied with friendly conversation while minutes ticked away, drawing me ever closer to the final inescapable trauma, during numbing wait time..the moment Dr. Gams walked in and started pumping the chair up, he made me feel safe and in GOOD HANDS , as he talked me thru the whole Surgical Extraction, while Bolstering my Spirits with Encouraging Remarks..He is a Brilliant Physician with a Refined Expertise..Thankyou Premier!

Everyone was friendly and made me feel comfortable. I knew exactly what to expect from the procedure, and there were no surprises. Dr. Gam did a great job removing my wisdom tooth, and Ann his RN was fantastic at making me feel relaxed.

Big Shout out to the staff! I came in from a last second visit at a different dental office and these folks helped me out immensely! I had a tooth pulled and during the process the surgeon gave clear guidance and instruction and was determined to help make sure I did not feel the pain of this tooth coming out. That did come way later but the experience of getting it out was one of the best and least painful visits I’ve ever had visiting a dentist/ oral surgeon. Thank you so much Monica for helping get me as comfortable as one could. (And if I could remember the male surgeons name he also gets a shout out!)

I was referred to them by Black Bridge Dental and let me tell you, I was nervous. And usually when it comes to getting a tooth extracted, I never get nervous. But because they were out-of-network, I didn’t know how much I’d have to pay out of pocket for getting one tooth pulled. Dr. Swantek and his staff were beyond nice and accommodating. When I was having a mild panic attack and on the phone with a close friend to calm me down, the nurse came in and asked if I was okay. Not most nurses in this line of work would even stop and ask if a patient is okay or not. They made me feel comfortable even when having a panic attack. The procedure took not even 5 minutes. I was shocked at how well and easy it was. And just yesterday(1/13/2026) I had to go back in due to pain on the same side where the tooth was pulled and whatnot. Luckily, Dr. Swantek was able to squeeze me in, checked me out and made sure I was doing okay. He was very understanding with EVERYTHING! All his staff were. Even tho, they’re out-of-network, I’m definitely going there to get oral surgery done. I HIGHLY recommend them to ANYONE who needs a tooth or teeth extracted! Thank you Dr. Swantek and his staff for being so kind and understanding with everything! You all are truly a godsend!

About Premier Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery

Premier Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery is an oral surgery practice at 1602 North Randall Avenue in Janesville, Wisconsin, with a second office in Monroe. The practice has served communities in Southern Wisconsin and Northern Illinois since 1992, offering a full scope of oral surgery services including dental implants, bone grafting for implants, wisdom teeth removal, impacted canine treatment, tooth extractions, and sedation. Its doctors have completed additional years of hospital-based surgical and anesthesia training after dental school, and registered nurses assist with sedation and post-operative care.

For patients considering dental implants, the practice describes implant placement as a team effort: its surgeons place the implants and handle any needed extractions or bone and soft tissue grafting, while the patient's restorative dentist fabricates the final crowns or dentures, with staff coordinating appointments between the two offices. Options covered on the practice's website include single tooth replacement, multiple tooth replacement, implant-supported dentures, and treatment for patients missing all of their upper or lower teeth. In select cases, implants can be placed at the same time as an extraction, and temporary crowns may be placed the same day. Procedures can be done under local anesthesia or intravenous sedation, and insurance and finance coordinators review out-of-pocket costs before treatment. The practice also awards a $1,000 community scholarship each year.

Dr. Gams was born in Janesville, graduated from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2012, completed a general practice residency in Akron, Ohio, and four years of oral and maxillofacial surgery training at the University of Texas at Houston.
