The doctor and staff were very nice, along with the billing specialist and front desk staff. However, the periodontist tried to have me do all the gum grafts he said I needed (15+ teeth) in one sitting, and to do a three hour surgery. They also don’t do sedatives here, only local numbing, and I would have had to pay for anesthesia which was another almost $3,000 out of pocket on top of a nearly $7,000 surgery. This didn’t sit right with me so I went to a new dentist who I told of the situation, and he did not believe I needed all teeth done at once and that I should get a second opinion. My new dentist referred me to a different periodontist. The new periodontist said it was outrageous that Premier Periodontics wanted to do my entire mouth at once and that the healing process would have been hell. He said only the lower quadrant of my mouth needed to be done now, and the rest of my mouth could be worked on over a couple years as my recession was not that bad. I went with the new periodontist for my gum graft, he charged me $2,700 with sedation and pain medication afterwards. 30 minute surgery. After getting the surgery, I cannot imagine how I would have functioned with nearly my entire mouth done at once. I felt that Premier tried to sell me a dangerous and overly expensive surgery while not adequately warning me of what the healing process would entail. I would not have been able to adequately eat, talk, work, or brush my teeth if I did 15+ teeth at once. The doctor and staff at Premier were kind to me, but I felt it was predatory after going and getting more opinions. I would not recommend this place for a gum graft.

I had an excellent experience with Dr. Hyun and Specialist Wattimena. Dr. Hyun did an outstanding job with my implant—it turned out excellent. Specialist Wattimena was also very professional and thorough. All of the staff were kind, attentive, and made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I truly appreciate their care and highly recommend them.

The staff is always so friendly and accommodating. They are prepared to explain things immediately in a very understandable way. The 2 people that have done my follow up work have been very efficient and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend this periodontal practice.

My cleaning appt was absolutely amazing. I enjoyed our conversation regarding better eating habits. We were pretty much on the same track. The fact he was concerned.pleased me. It showed a genuine concern about my well being. Options, I have tight teeth that are a challenge for normal flossing
