If I could give negative stars I would. Prices for dental work is outrageously expensive, Dont get me wrong, my first visit? Absolutely great! Great customer service friendly staff and Dr. Martin seems very interested in my journey to a healthy smile, and has no problem shelling out pills to keep people coming back. But on my second and third final visit were not so great, they didn’t seem interested in helping me unless I paid in full for the work. Dr Martin was pushy and impatient because I haven’t secured a loan for the said amount. They are just eager to charge me and send me on my way. After my last appointment, I went to get a second opinion, because something just didn’t seem right. My estimated bill from Queen City? Over 17,000 after insurance, my second opinion? 8,900 for EVERYTHING and they offer payment plans unlike there. I think that price gap is a bit strange. Just saying.

I was in dire need of emergency care and Dr. Martin and the entire staff could not have been more accommodating and caring. I was greeted by a friendly, smiling staff that did everything possible to help a bad situation turn into a positive. Very personable, funny, and friendly. I am almost glad that I had my emergency as I look forward to continuing my care with Queen City Dental.

I went here for a root canal after getting an infection. They took $800 upfront and didnt tell me that they over charge you first without contacting insurance, then take the extra and put it as a credit on your account. I would have never known they took over $400 EXTRA dollars from me if it wasnt for a notification from my insurance saying my portion was only $280. Sure, I should have called the insurance company myself, but the fact they intentionally did not tell me is very alarming. I would like to see their policy on "unclaimed" funds in peoples accounts. My guess is they are double dipping. They also told me they would put on a cap but instead left me with a drilled hole filled with a bit of cement. Now I have a tooth with a hole that drives me nuts, collects food and isnt painful but slightly aches. ALSO, The dentist was trying to make me feel embarrassed about my front teeth. They were broken off as a kid and the dentist at that time did a phenomenal job. She was telling me that should just wanted to redo them so they looked better. Additionally she wanted me to buy a mouth guard from her for $750. Needless to say I bought one from the drugstore for $15. You have to call them and tell them to send you a check for the amount they overcharged you. I urge anyone who has previously gone to this dentist to call and check if there is any "credit" on you account so you can get your money back. Even if it's their policy, it shouldn't be unknown to the patient.

About Queen City Dental Studio

Queen City Dental Studio is a general and cosmetic dentistry practice located at 1300 North Montana Avenue in Helena, Montana. The office serves patients from Helena as well as Boulder, Lincoln, Montana City and Clancy, and is currently accepting new patients. Services range from preventative care such as exams, cleanings, sealants and gum disease treatment to restorative work including fillings, crowns, bridges, non-surgical root canals and dental implants. Cosmetic options include porcelain veneers, dental bonding, inlays and onlays, teeth whitening and Botox.

For patients considering dental implants, the practice begins with a dental and radiographic examination and a review of health history. The consultation may be handled by the practice's dentists or by an oral and maxillofacial surgeon the practice refers to. The implants are surgically placed in the jaw bone, and once they have bonded with the bone the office designs and fits the final crowns, bridgework or dentures. The practice describes implants as a way to restore the ability to eat, speak and smile with confidence while preserving facial structure. Patients can reach the office at (406) 449-1300 to schedule an implant consultation.
