I was referred here after a failed attempt from my dentist to remove a tooth. My roots were still in there. Dr Perry and his staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. The process from being numb to removal was very quick. I'm so happy and pleased with the service received and will be sure to refer him to others!

I would rate this surgeon a zero. His knowledge is not equal to adequate care of his patients. My family member had an implant placed by him, it failed costing my family member thousands of dollars plus time lost for several visits, left them in pain horrible pain. Do not spend your money with this Dr. Go elsewhere.

Everyone that works there is so very nice, personable and knowledgeable. The receptionist Amanda was so helpful when I called with a couple of problems. The nurse Pam is so knowledgeable and very nice. Dr. Perry called me at home two days in a row to make sure I was doing okay and to see if I had any questions. Not many Doctors these days are that caring.

Do not go here! This place is a scam. I decided to go despite the bad reviews because this place claims to be in network with insurance for dental implants. They are on my dental insurance website as well for being in network. When you arrive and go through the x-ray process and have you watch an old movie, that is when they make you sign a form saying they will not honor your in network preferred provider rates for dental implants. They don't tell you this over the phone when you make the appointment even when you ask if they are in network and a preferred provider. It was no small amount. It was going to be close to a couple thousand dollars more than what they were allowed to charge for being in network. Best thing I did was decide never to go back and I let my insurance know what they were doing. I'm writing this review so that other people will not be taken advantage of like I was. P.S. they will try to tell you scare tactics that you are never allowed to have popcorn ever again with their dental implants and any warranty on their work will be null and void if you do.

Was referred by my regular dentist to Thomas Perry DDS due to a growth under my tongue, which might be cancerous, which i clearly told his office staff why i needed to see Dr Perry. He couldn’t see me for four weeks. When i finally got in to see him he literally did nothing and told me, “he doesn’t know anything about or treat any issues with the tongue.” Then he spent 4-5 minutes talking about his fly fishing hobby. Then they charged me 100 dollars for literally nothing, even though i made it crystal clear to his office worker/scheduler that my issue was a growth on my tongue! Half my day, 90 minutes of driving and 100 dollars gone, for nothing.

About R. Thomas Perry, D.D.S. Oral Surgery & Implant Solutions
Oral Surgery and Implant Solutions, the practice of R. Thomas Perry, D.D.S., is an oral and maxillofacial surgery office at 5335 Far Hills Avenue, Suite 118 in Dayton, Ohio, serving patients from Dayton and Southwest Ohio. Dr. Perry and his staff have been providing oral surgery care to the Dayton area since 1989. The practice's procedures include dental implants, bone grafting, wisdom teeth removal, tooth extractions, and platelet rich plasma therapy. The site describes dental implants as a team effort between the oral surgeon and the patient's restorative dentist: the surgeons handle any needed extractions, bone grafting, and the implant surgery itself, then work closely with area dentists and dental lab technicians so that the final crown, bridge, or denture fits correctly.
For patients missing teeth, the practice offers surgical modification and bone grafting of extraction sites, jaw ridges, and the maxillary sinus floor in preparation for implants or dentures, and notes that a variety of treatment options are available to support replacement teeth when all teeth are missing. Anesthesia options listed on the site include local anesthesia, nitrous oxide, oral sedation, intravenous sedation, and general anesthesia. The practice says it provides up-front cost information before treatment, offers in-office payment options, is in-network with a variety of insurance plans, and accepts all major credit cards. Office hours are Monday and Tuesday 8:30 to 5:00, Thursday 7:30 to 4:00, and Friday 7:30 to 12:00, with extended hours on select days.
