Dr. Gary Raska鈥檚 surgical knowledge, experience, and expertise are impressive. He provided excellent care during the removal of my impacted wisdom tooth. I was comfortable throughout the procedure and reassured by his competent, and congenial manner. The auxiliary staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive in both patient care and communication. The office is well equipped, exceptionally clean, and has a very pleasant and professional atmosphere. I highly recommend

I highly recommend Dr. Raska and staff. The level of care and professionalism was exceptional, but what truly stood out was Dr. Raska's integrity. He prioritized my long-term health and advised a procedure that was less invasive and less expensive than other options I was given elsewhere. It was the right move for my overall health. The staff was attentive, supportive, and made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. I will be recommending Dr. Raska to my friends and family.

Never had an implant before and was quite nervous about the surgery, process and implant. Dr Raska is highly skilled, professional and makes you feel at ease. I never felt any pain after the surgery and he makes sure he is available via his cell after the surgery! Who does that?? Also, his staff is very competent and friendly. I highly recommend!

I absolutely loved Dr. Raska! He is definitely one of those kinds of people you want to have if you are getting a tooth removed. The staff is awesome too and I just overall enjoyed my time there even if I was in a little pain. Dr. Raska made me feel at home and I loved every bit of his commentary. From jokes like I just watched a YouTube video last night on how to do this, to him sewing me up so fast after extracting a tooth I thought was going to be a pain in the butt to remove since it was so deteriorated that I thought the only way to remove it may be to be put under heavy sedation. But I believed in him and if he knows he can do it he will get the job done. When he was sewing me up I loved his joke about tying my tooth up and tying it to the door knob to pull it out LOL. I honestly did not believe he had got my tooth out that fast! But he proved me wrong! I did think that he was using the string to try to shimmy it out LOL but when he tilted my seat back up I was sort of in shock when I then found out he had gotten my tooth out already LOL seriously this place is awesome and Dr. Raska is the ultimate best! I truly wish nothing but the best for you! Thank you so much for making my experience something. I look back on and have nothing but good words to say. 馃┓

I had such a great experience with Dr. Raska. This was actually my second time seeing him. I originally came years ago for my wisdom teeth and extractions before getting braces, so I already trusted his work.
From start to finish, everyone in the office made me feel comfortable and taken care of. Everything went so smoothly, and he was very gentle and thorough.
He used a long lasting numbing medication (Exparel), and it made a huge difference. I have had no pain at all afterward, which I did not expect.
I also usually have a hard time with IVs because my veins are small and it often takes multiple attempts, but he got it on the first try with no issues at all, which I really appreciated.
I am so grateful for the care, professionalism, and generosity shown to me. You can tell this office truly cares about their patients. I highly recommend Dr. Raska to anyone needing oral surgery.

Dr. Gary M. Raska, DMD, FACS, is the oral and maxillofacial surgeon at Raska Dental Implant and Oral Surgery. He is board certified as a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology, and he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He is licensed in Florida in oral and maxillofacial surgery and general anesthesia. Dr. Raska earned his dental degree from Southern Illinois University in Edwardsville, Illinois, completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois, and completed a fellowship in trauma, reconstruction, and cosmetic surgery at St. John's Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. He holds active staff privileges at Sarasota Memorial Hospital and Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, and he serves as Director of the International Team for Implantology Club of Sarasota.
