Best Oral Surgeon – Dr. Bundy at Red Rocks Oral Surgery I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Bundy and his amazing team at Red Rocks Oral Surgery. I had a broken tooth that became badly infected, and with my medical history, surgery was not going to be simple or routine. Dr. Bundy and his staff were there for me every step of the way — even before the procedure. When the infection worsened and I ended up in the ER days before surgery, they didn’t hesitate to step in and support me however they could. Their communication, compassion, and professionalism were beyond anything I expected. The surgery itself went smoothly, and I felt completely safe and cared for. Dr. Bundy is not only incredibly skilled but also truly empathetic — he listened, he understood my medical concerns, and he made sure everything was handled with care. If you're looking for an oral surgeon who treats you like more than just a patient, Dr. Bundy is the one. I’m so grateful to him and the entire team.

Red Rock Oral Surgery was very nice and friendly when I arrived at their office. The staff were very attentive and making sure I was comfortable. The Dr. was very nice and educated me on which options would be best for me. At the end, the Dr. suggested that I would be better getting a bridge for my situation. The implant wouldn’t be ideal for one tooth and I would save money by getting a bridge. I was very appreciative for his consultation and took his recommendation. This practice was very helpful and suggested the best treatment for me and helped me save money in the process. Good people and rare to find a practice that’s looking out for you and not just trying to make money off people. I really recommend this place!

The practice offers a full range of dental implant surgery, bone grafting and soft tissue grafting procedures, along with wisdom tooth removal, tooth extractions, exposure of impacted canines, pre-prosthetic surgery, oral pathology, and bar attachment (implant-supported) dentures. Full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery services, including hospital based care and emergency care, are also provided.

For patients considering dental implants, the practice has a cone beam CT scanner on site for three-dimensional imaging and uses implant treatment planning software to design cases virtually before surgery, then transfers that plan to the mouth with surgical guides. Bone grafting options described on the practice's website include socket preservation, ridge augmentation and sinus lift, and platelet rich plasma may be used to support bone graft healing when indicated. For most patients, implants are placed in a single stage procedure, and the surgeon coordinates with each patient's restorative dentist throughout care. Meet the Doctors

Red Rocks Oral Surgery is led by David R. Bundy, D.D.S., a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon and Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. Dr. Bundy graduated from the University of Colorado School of Dental Medicine in 2008, completed a one year general practice residency, and then completed a four year residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital and School of Dental Medicine in Augusta, Georgia, where he served as Chief Resident in his final year and was an instructor in intravenous conscious sedation. He is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a member of the American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association, Metro Denver Dental Society and the Colorado Prosthodontics Society, where he is a past president. His surgical interests include implant surgery, dental extractions, dentoalveolar surgery and wisdom tooth removal, and he is trained and certified to administer intravenous sedation anesthesia.
