I was looking for dentist for a toothache I was having. I found Dr Shmara online and I decided to make an appointment because he had such great reviews from almost all of his patients. I decided to make an appointment and they got me in right away because I was in pain. When I arrived the staff were very professional and kind. They were very friendly when greeting me and while taking care of me. They did not make me wait at all and took me to the back for my xrays and exam quickly. After the kind assitant , I think her name was Marianna, took my xrays Dr Shmara came in to see me. He was very thourough in his exam and explained to me what was happening with my tooth. He described the problem and answered all my questions. He said we could take care of the problem right away since I was in pain. He did a root canal on my tooth because the tooth was infected. He was so gentle with the shot I didn’t feel a thing. I almost fell asleep dring the procedure. After completing the root canal the Dr did a crown on the same tooth and i walked out with a temporary. I was so amazed that I felt almost nothing during the procedure. I returned a couple of weeks later for the permanent crown. Everything went very smoothly and the crown fit perfectly. Thank you Dr Shmara for the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I will be referring all my friends and family.

I usually don’t write reviews, but my experience with Dr. Shmara was serious enough that I feel a responsibility to share it so others can avoid the same situation. I received a crown from Dr. Shmara, and from the very beginning, it never felt right. I experienced discomfort every day, pain while chewing, and food constantly getting packed between the crown and the neighboring tooth. After months of problems, I went to an endodontist, who confirmed that my root was completely healthy and that the real issue was the crown itself — there was an open space that was causing gum irritation, bleeding, and infection. What made things even worse is that when the crown didn’t fit during the appointment, instead of remaking it, Dr. Shmara shaved down my perfectly healthy upper tooth just to force the crown to fit. That tooth was completely fine before. Now, months later, it is painful and sensitive to cold because unnecessary enamel was removed. I have been dealing with this discomfort for more than six months. It has affected my eating, my daily life, and my mental health. On top of the dental issues, I also experienced extremely unprofessional behavior. During one appointment, after I told him I was losing trust because he made the wrong crown multiple times, he became angry and told me to “get out of his office.” Only after noticing I was recording did he change his attitude and apologize, asking me to trust him “one last time.” After all of this, I am still left with: • A crown that causes discomfort • Gum irritation and bleeding from food packing • A healthy tooth damaged and now sensitive • Months of stress, worry, and daily discomfort • A complete loss of trust due to his behavior This entire experience has caused me stress, pain, and frustration. I would not want anyone else to go through what I experienced.

My sister recommended Dr Shmara to because I cracked one of my teeth. I’m so glad she did. Dr. Shmara and Staff are very professional and very friendly people. I ended up with a whole new smile. And I get compliments all the time. Thank you very much.

I have been coming to this dental office for many years and have always been pleased. I also bring my elderly mother here. Dr. Shmara and his staff, especially Sherrie and Carey, are the best! They are so kind, capable, patient, and accommodating. Dr. Shmara has handled all kinds of issues for us including implants, crowns, bridges, and root canals. Not only does he do a fantastic job, he always takes the time to explain all of the available options, what he recommends, and why. I have confidence in Dr. Shmara and know he will always do what’s in my best interest. He's also a genuinely nice guy who I enjoy talking and joking with.

Dr. Shmara is an excellent doctor. I recommend visiting him if you're having trouble finding a new dentist. He and his staff deliver outstanding dental care. Dr. Shamara is very honest about the treatment you need and gives the best recommendations for other offices if required.
