Everything about this experience was great. Every one of the staff who I dealt with were all pleasant, friendly and put me at ease. On top of being very professional and good at their jobs. Dr. Burlingame and dental assistant Rena were great from walking me through the procedure and all the options to skillfully doing the actual procedure and getting me through it. I even got asked what kind of music I wanted to listen to.The whole outfit almost makes me look forward to having oral surgery again.

I have been to 4 different oral surgeons and this was, by far the best experience I have ever had. The front office staff was super friendly and helpful. Doctor Buingame and Olivia were down to earth, caring and compassionate! Very professional. But down-to-earth, great business. Great, people.We'll definitely be going back if I need more work. Thank you guys so much!

I am so thankful that I was able to get an appointment to be seen quickly. From the moment I walked into the clinic yesterday for a consultation to the quick surgery date today. The experience was nothing less than amazing. Kinda sounds funny coming from an oral surgeon appointment but every team member was so kind and friendly. They all cared and it showed by the way they all worked together. Such care and concern for their patients, welcoming smiles and wonderful personalities. Thank you so much for taking care of me!

Literally felt like I was being welcomed into a Spa. Everyone was so nice and completely informative with my questions. I was nervous; staff immediately put me at ease. I had sleep sedation and did not feel anything. I was out the door in under an hour. Excellent experience. Highly recommend Dr. Burlingame and his sterling staff!
(And No, I didn't receive a free gift tooth for writing this review lol!)

About Riverside Oral Surgery
Riverside Oral Surgery is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice at 316 Knollcrest Drive in Redding, California, located off Interstate 5 and Highway 44 and minutes from Anderson, Shasta Lake, Palo Cedro, and Cottonwood. The practice focuses on dental implants, wisdom teeth removal, and tooth extractions, along with bone grafting, oral pathology, pre-prosthetic surgery, exposure of impacted teeth, facial trauma care, and treatment for jaw joint pain. Implant options described on the practice website include single tooth implants, multiple tooth implants, implant-supported dentures, and All-on-X full-arch treatment, in which a full arch of fixed teeth is supported by four to eight implants. Patients who qualify for immediate loading can go home the same day with fixed temporary teeth.
According to its website, the practice plans treatment with cone-beam three-dimensional imaging and uses intra-oral scanning and in-house 3D-printed surgical guides for guided implant placement, along with platelet-rich plasma and platelet-rich fibrin therapy to support healing after extractions and grafts. Meet the Doctors
Riverside Oral Surgery is led by two full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgeons. Dr. Shaun Burlingame, DDS, MD, earned both his dental degree and his medical degree at New York University, where he graduated in the top 5% of his dental class and served as Chief Resident during his oral and maxillofacial surgery training. His practice includes dental implant surgery, full-mouth rehabilitation, bone and gum grafting, extractions, oral pathology, corrective jaw surgery, and sedation and general anesthesia for adults and children. Dr. Francisco Suarez, DDS, earned his dental degree at the UCLA School of Dentistry, completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center, and completed a fellowship at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center with training in corrective jaw surgery, jaw joint disorders, and maxillofacial pathology. He treats dental implant cases, jaw joint pain, bone grafting needs, wisdom teeth, and extractions. Both surgeons hold certifications in Basic Life Support, Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Pediatric Advanced Life Support, and Advanced Trauma Life Support.
