My first visit with RLJ Dental for a checkup and cleaning was exceptional. The hygienist was extremely professional. Her explanations were detailed and easy to understand. Doctor Fox's exam was one of the most comprehensive I've had. Her communication with patient and hygienist gave me a great amount of confidence in their care and record keeping. I'm looking forward to very good patient care with RLJ Dental in Oshkosh. Thank you!

When i went there for dental pain the staff were very gentle and accommodating to my situation and also very patient for someone who has a fear of going to the dentist from past traumatic experiences. Dr. Dylan was very caring and explained everything making sure I was still ok during my visits. I will definitely be going back for more dental work since he was the best dentist I've had so far.

TLDR: If you read my review and then read more reviews, you'll see a common theme: Since Dr. Fogel (Dylan) left, this office has sprinted downhill with a dentist who can't manage her time, hygienists who take time off by cancelling patient appointments, and mind-boggling scheduling errors. I highly recommend avoiding. Review: About two years ago, I needed an emergency dental procedure and had difficulty finding any provider with availability sooner than a month out. RLJ Dental was able to get me in quickly, and at that time (when Dylan was still there), I had a very positive experience. Unfortunately, our more recent experiences have been frustratingly terrible. Last summer, my wife had a new patient appointment and cleaning scheduled. Shortly before the appointment, we received a text stating the hygienist would be unavailable and the appointment needed to be rescheduled several months out. We declined and sought care elsewhere. Unfortunately, due to limited options with our Delta Dental coverage, we recently returned to RLJ. Last week, I went in for a consultation for a cracked tooth. After the initial consult with the hygienist, I was told it would be a long wait before the dentist could consult with me regarding the treatment. Apparently, she was running behind. Because I had already waited awhile in the lobby and no one knew how long the dentist would be, I couldn't keep waiting. I hadn't planned to be there all afternoon for a consult. I had to get back to work, because I had my own commitments I needed to attend to. I should note that as I was leaving that visit, the hygienist asked about my wife’s upcoming appointment. I checked our family calendar on my phone and confirmed it was scheduled for Monday at 1:30 PM, and the hygienist stated that she saw the same time reflected in their schedule. Something positive to note in this fray of awful: In my limited interactions with the hygienist that morning, she was very polite, personable, and on task. Now, for our experience today. We arrived for my wife’s scheduled 1:30 PM appointment and were told it was actually booked for 8:00 AM. While she did receive a reminder text showing 8:00 AM, I personally scheduled the appointment over the phone and entered it into both my work and family calendars as 1:30 PM, confirming the time with the receptionist during the call. Then, this same appointment was verbally confirmed when I was there last week for my appointment that ended up being a non-starter because the dentist was running behind schedule. As a result, last week I lost time at work and wasted a trip to Oshkosh because the dentist was running behind. And this afternoon, we both lost work time and made an unnecessary trip to Oshkosh because of a scheduling error. While I understand that scheduling errors can happen, this is not an isolated issue in our experience with this office. Since Dylan left, holy cow. What a mess. I can't recommend this provider.

A new dentist took over. We had never met. She didn’t bother to introduce herself. And she didn’t seem to like that I asked questions about her recommendation. The hygienist was wonderful!

Dr Fox is so talented and very experienced. She cares for her patients and takes the time to listen to you on any teeth issues. Her assistant Ashley is awesome too! I highly recommend her.
