I had very mixed feelings about my visit today. The dental hygienist who cleaned my teeth was wonderful, and the doctor was also great. The actual care I received in the back was excellent. However, I am extremely disappointed with how the front desk handled my insurance. I am an established patient at this office. When I arrived, I specifically asked the receptionist if she needed my dental insurance card. She told me, “No, I was able to pull up all your info.” She even reconfirmed that she found my insurance under my spouse’s employer. To be safe, I still handed her my insurance card. She looked at it, compared it to what she had on file, and handed it back. At no point was I told they were out of network. As an established patient, once they “found” my information and saw my insurance details, I feel they should have informed me right then and there that they were no longer in network — or even called me beforehand once they verified my coverage. Instead, I was allowed to proceed with my appointment under the assumption everything was covered, as it always had been in the past. After my cleaning and exam, I was told at checkout that my total was $146. I was shocked because my insurance has always covered my cleanings. That’s when I was informed they have been out of network with my insurance since October of last year and that “letters and messages were sent out.” I never received any notice. I understand that it is ultimately a patient’s responsibility to verify in-network providers. However, it is also the office’s responsibility to clearly inform patients when they become aware of an insurance issue — especially when the patient directly asks about their insurance and physically provides their card. This situation is not 100% my fault. Had I been told upfront, I would not have continued with the appointment. It is extremely unprofessional not to clearly inform a patient they are out of network before services are performed. Patients should not be expected to find this out at checkout. The clinical staff was great, but the lack of communication and transparency from the front desk has left me very unhappy and frustrated. I do not feel I should be expected to pay this amount in full due to an issue that could have easily been prevented with proper communication.

Top-tier service from start to finish. Every visit is consistently professional, efficient, and welcoming. The team is knowledgeable, considerate, and takes the time to explain everything clearly. They’re always friendly and easy to talk to, which makes the entire experience comfortable and stress-free. I especially appreciate their flexibility with scheduling and how smoothly everything runs — whether it’s preventive maintenance, teeth cleanings, X-rays, or other dental procedures. Truly awesome service every time. Highly recommend!

I received the same kind professional service on my last visit as I did on my first. I was made comfortable and confident in my treatment. I’m horrible with names but I believe that Mollye was my dental hygienist today, and I am totally satisfied with the high level quality of care she provided. Thanks.

Dr Arnold has a great chair side manner. And he worked quickly and painlessly to extract one broken tooth and put a crown on another. His assistant Kristen was very friendly and made me feel right at home. We had a very good time together while I was there.

Staff is quick and knowledgeable. Paperwork easily completed online. Dr Arnold was nice and personable. They offer an array of options for dental care. I will be bringing whole family.
