I was extremely nervous about my appointment, but from the moment I walked in, the entire staff made me feel comfortable and at ease. They were so patient, kind, and took their time with me, making sure I was okay every step of the way. They never rushed me and explained everything they were doing, which really helped calm my nerves.
By the time I left, I felt so much more confident and much less afraid of going to the dentist. I can't thank them enough for their compassion and professionalism. If you're anxious about dental visits, I highly recommend them—they truly care about their patients.

I recently had my first appointment at Rome Smiles, and it was truly one of the best experiences I’ve ever had at a dental office.
Carlee, my dental hygienist, was so kind, patient, and understanding. She made me feel comfortable from the moment I sat down and explained everything she was doing along the way. She also took the time to thoroughly explain my exam findings and treatment plan, making sure I understood everything and felt comfortable with the next steps. Everyone in the office was welcoming, professional, and genuinely cared about making the experience as stress-free as possible. If you’ve been avoiding the dentist because of fear or anxiety like I did, I cannot recommend Rome Smiles enough. I’m so glad I finally went, and I won’t be putting off my dental care again. Thank you to Carlee, Dr. Patel, and the entire team for such a wonderful first visit!

I have been a patient of this practice for decades, first with Dr. Hudson before his retirement, then Dr. Scharnhorst and Dr. Shepherd. I haven't met Dr. Patel but I'm sure she is just as great as the aforementioned. Dr Shepherd recently repaired a severely broken tooth by filling it. I didn't realize that would be possible. I thought the tooth would have to be pulled. He did a great job, looks awesome. Highly recommend Rome Smiles for all dental procedures. Awesome staff!!

I went in for tooth pain. Dr.Scott was great! He was kind and listened to what I wanted to have done. He & the staff were professional, polite and made me feel very calm and comfortable. I will definitely be back for my regular checkups.

My last visit was for both me & my 83yr old mother, who suffers from dementia. I also happened to have had to bring my two young granddaughters along (ages 4 & 6). The utmost patience & understanding was shown by the staff through it all….. The entire team at Rome Smiles is top notch, & I couldn’t recommend them enough!!!
