I had such a wonderful experience with Dr. Jarvis and his staff today! From the moment I walked in the staff was warm and inviting. Jennifer, my hygienist, did a great job and was very knowledgeable. She was also wonderful to visit with. Dr. Jarvis is very compassionate and gave me great insight on what’s happening with my oral health in a way that was easy to understand. He also clearly understands the link between oral health and overall health and was able to make helpful recommendations. I’m so grateful a good friend recommended them to me and I would highly recommend them to anyone who’s looking for excellent dental care.

I have gone to Dr Jarvis for most of life. He and his team have always made my visits as comfortable and possible. Everyone is always so friendly and caring. I recommend that anyone looking for a new dentist goes to Great Northern Dental.

I've been a patient at Great Northern for many years and couldn't be happier with the care I receive. Dr. Jarvis is very knowledgeable, meticulous, and truly skilled at what he does. He always takes the time to explain everything clearly and make sure I'm comfortable.
The entire staff is wonderful— the receptionists are always warm and welcoming, and the hygienists and assistants are very friendly, professional, and do an excellent job. It’s clear that everyone takes pride in their work and genuinely cares about their patients.
Highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for high-quality dental care in a friendly and professional environment!

From the receptionists to the hygienists and assistants, to Dr. Jarvis, they are all exceptional and each go out of their way to make the apt as easy and relaxing as possible! TVs on the ceiling was icing on the cake for my kids too. They had no problem having cavities filled! It is a great office all around! I’d recommend anyone I know.

It was awesome, Took care of all my dental needs. They are kind, professional and filled the defects my front teeth after a couple of fillings along the gum line fell out. I have a great fear of dentist from past experiences and they took care of all my needs and made me feel very comfortable and safe.

The practice was started in 2010 with the belief that every patient deserves kindness, respect, and exceptional care. Alongside routine visits that include a comprehensive oral evaluation, professional cleaning, and oral cancer screening, the office provides dental implants, same-day crowns, oral surgery, periodontal therapy, clear aligner orthodontics, full and partial dentures, full mouth reconstruction, and cosmetic services such as veneers and teeth whitening. Emergency dental care and sedation dentistry are also offered. The practice has partnered with Smile Montana Dental Center, so patients can also be seen at Smile Montana locations in Whitefish and Columbia Falls.
For patients considering dental implants, the practice describes implants as its preferred option for replacing missing teeth and offers three-dimensional guided implant placement supported by in-office three-dimensional imaging and custom surgical guides. Meet the Doctors
Dr. Ronald Jarvis, DDS founded Great Northern Dental Care in 2010 after working 13 years as an engineer. He earned a bachelor of science in engineering from Brigham Young University in 1990 and later completed dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University. Dr. Jarvis is a member of the CEREC Doctors Academy and Spear Education, and he uses the CEREC system and three-dimensional imaging to digitally design custom-guided implants, same-day crowns, and in-house clear aligner treatment. He also volunteers with organizations such as Mission of Mercy, Shepherd's Hand, and Donated Dental to help patients who cannot afford care. Great Northern Dental Care has partnered with Smile Montana Dental Center, and the practice's clinical team at the Kalispell office also includes Dr. Miller and Dr. Hoffenbacker of Smile Montana.
