Meet the Doctors

Dr. Jay Akef leads San Diego Dental Implants & Periodontics. He graduated with honors from the School of Dentistry at Loyola University of Chicago and went on to complete graduate training specializing in periodontics. He practiced in Los Angeles, including time as an educator at UCLA, before beginning practice in the San Diego area in 1994, where he has since focused on periodontal disease treatment, dental implants, and related surgical procedures.
