This is the second time I've used Dr. Vergara and if in the future I have another dental crisis her office will be my first call. I had a problem start on a Friday night. I was at my dentist when they opened Mon. The tooth had to come out but since it was a high risk extraction they sent me to Dr. Vergara. By the time I got there Tues morning I was experiencing the worst pain I've ever had. The staff was very professional and caring. I was in very bad shape, both physically and emotionally. They got me through it. They couldn't do the surgery until the next morning but helped get the pain down to a manageable level and to get the infection under control. (No easy task since I'm allergic to codeine which rules out most strong pain killers) Surgery was first thing Wed morning. I don't remember much from the time they started the IV until I was wheeled out to my ride but during the time i was awake the staff kept me comfortable and completely at ease. 24 hours later - other than some very minor post surgery discomfort I'm doing great.

Dr, Sandra Vergara, and her staff have came to my rescue twice now. Both times they had me in for a consult immediately, and quickly got me scheduled for my procedure. If you want to be treated like a patient, and not a number, this is the place to go for your oral surgery needs. These guys are amazing!

Dr Vergara and her nurse are the best! They are very nice and explain everything in detail. Dr Vergara got me in promptly and was very attentive. She went above and beyond to make sure I was taken very well care of. Also, my surgery went smoothly and I had almost no pain whatsoever afterwards. I would recommend her to anyone!

Thank God for Dr. Vergara. My son had to undergo an invasive procedure, and to my surprise, he was eating and playing the very next day. I’ve worked with many doctors in the past — both for myself and my other children — but no experience has ever been as easy, seamless, and reassuring as this one. Truly the best doctor we’ve ever had! Thank you Dr. Vergara!

Dr. Vergara is extremely patient and understanding during the entire process. During the surgery and afterward, there was no pain, and the doctor took care to explain the entire time. I would certainly recommend Dr. Vergara and her staff to anyone needing dental care.

She earned her dental degree and completed a four-year oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at El Bosque University School of Dentistry in Bogota, Colombia, finishing in 1996, then completed a fellowship in oral and maxillofacial surgery with an emphasis on surgical treatment of temporomandibular joint disorders through Southwestern Medical Center, Parkland Hospital in Dallas, and Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. In 2001 she returned to Vanderbilt University Medical Center for a second residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery, earning a specialty certification. Her website states she is the only female oral surgeon in the greater Texoma area, and she practices the full scope of oral and maxillofacial surgery with an emphasis on dental implant surgery, temporomandibular joint care, oral pathology, orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery, facial trauma, and dentoalveolar surgery. She holds hospital privileges at Kell West Regional Hospital and Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas.
