From the moment I walked into SBDI, DR Vorholt, Betsie, Irica, Yahaira and Maria welcomed me and immediately put me at ease, making me feel like part of their family. The entire experience was relaxed and handled with the highest level of professionalism and expertise.
I had a few medical concerns regarding the procedure, and every one of them was thoughtfully addressed and carefully managed. Knowing I was in such capable and compassionate hands made all the difference.
It鈥檚 refreshing to find a team that truly cares about their patients the way this one does. If you are considering dental implants, This is absolutely the place to go.
I couldn鈥檛 be happier with my new smile.

I love this place!
I scheduled a complimentary consultation for a single implant.
From the moment I scheduled the appointment, I was treated by such a friendly, thorough, competent, professional staff. They made me feel comfortable, (and being someone with past dental trauma, suffice it to say, I have high dental anxiety.)
Erika and Betsie and Dr Vorholtz are the REAL DEAL. They answered all of my questions, took plenty of time to address my needs, explained all possible treatments, and even referred me to a colleague that they felt would be better for my particular issue. Dr. Vorholtz's honesty and integrity is a breath of fresh air, and I so appreciated his genuine care of what would be best for ME, not necessarily his wallet. I so appreciated that.
And the best part, I got to meet his adorable son, James!
Thank you to Betsie for her down to earth sweet personality, and for her thoroughness and follow through with exactly what she promised to do. :)

You couldn't go to a better place. Dr. Vorholt is a very down to earth doctor. Betsie, is very helpful and really explains things. The treatment plan is catered to you and not some cookie cutter procedure. Pricing is very competitive and the financing options are very reasonable.

Dr Steven did a great job. Always checking on Eddie during the whole procedure. Asking if he was feeling pain and making the appropriate adjustment. Staff was outstanding 馃憦
Overall rating a big 5 stars. I highly recommend Dr Steven Vorholt and staff to procedure, no matter what it might be. Mr Steven and assistance took the time to thoroughly explain all possible avenues available for my brother and his procedure. Great job 馃憦 馃憤 馃憣 馃檶

Dr. Vorholt, Betsie and Iricia make you feel so comfortable right when you walk in the door. I have high anxiety to go to the dentist, but that atmosphere is calming and you can tell you are not judged. Betsie is very informative in her consultations and Dr. Vorholt is very skilled.

About Santa Barbara Dental Implants
Santa Barbara Dental Implants is a dental practice located at 1933 Cliff Drive, Suite 8, in Santa Barbara, California, just off the coastal area near the harbor. Unlike a general dentist's office, this practice focuses exclusively on dental implants, extractions, and dentures rather than offering routine services like fillings, crowns, and root canals. That narrow focus allows the team to concentrate on tooth replacement options including single implants, implant-supported bridges, All-on-4 style full arch restorations, and both traditional and implant-retained dentures.
One feature that sets this office apart is an on-site denture lab, which lets the team fabricate dentures in house rather than sending the work out to a third-party lab. For patients considering All-on-4 style treatment, the practice notes it will place anywhere from four to six implants per arch depending on what best supports a stable, long-term result, and it uses zirconia or nano-ceramic materials for the final teeth rather than acrylic. Free consultations are offered so patients missing one tooth, several teeth, or all of their teeth can review their options before committing to treatment.
