Dr. Reuter and his team (shout out front desk, Erika, and Jacob) are amazing! My sister and I both had our wisdom teeth out with him and everything from consult to procedure to follow up - prompt, professional, and easy. HIGHLY recommend!

Dr. Reuter and his staff are consummate professionals. They are friendly, informative and do excellent work. They removed wisdom teeth from all four of our kids. There was never a problem and they were consistent over the years. I highly recommend them!

I wanted to share my experience with Dr. Reuter, who has been guiding me through my implant journey since October 2025. I can honestly say the ease of my recovery surprised me, and I truly believe it’s a reflection of the care, expertise, and attention this entire team provides. From the front desk staff, to the dental assistants, and of course Dr. Reuter. Everyone made me feel supported and at ease every step of the way. I’m not exaggerating when I say I’ve always had a very difficult time walking into any dental office, especially when it involves a procedure. Being told I needed a tooth removed and an implant placed was incredibly scary for me. But this team completely changed that experience. Because of them, I can confidently say that if I ever need a procedure again, I won’t hesitate to call Sarasota Oral and Implant Surgery to talk through next steps. That says everything. Dr. Reuter is an exceptional oral surgeon. He has placed two dental implants for me with minimal to no pain, and he also removed my 19-year-old daughter’s wisdom teeth with the same excellent outcome. His skill, professionalism, and patient care truly set him apart. I highly recommend Dr. Reuter.

Sarasota Oral & Implant Surgery is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice serving Sarasota and the surrounding Gulf Coast area, with this office located at 2130 South Tamiami Trail in Sarasota, plus additional offices on Bee Ridge Road in Sarasota and in Venice. The surgeons handle the full range of surgical care for the mouth, teeth, and jaws, with dental implants and the bone grafting that often supports them at the center of the practice. Roemer, DMD, MD see patients at this South Tamiami Trail office. Dr. Reuter, a Sarasota native, earned his dental and medical degrees at the University of Florida, completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery, general surgery, and anesthesia training at University of Florida Shands Jacksonville, and served as Chief of Oral Surgery at Sarasota Memorial Hospital for nearly a decade. Dr. Roemer earned his dental degree at the University of Pennsylvania, graduating at the top of his class, and his medical degree at the University of Florida. He is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and has practiced in Sarasota since 2017. Scott Middleton, DMD, MD practices at the Bee Ridge Road office in Sarasota.
