I was very anxious about getting a tooth extracted, as are many people. The office has such a comfortable feel. Dr. O'Nele and all of his staff are the absolute nicest I've ever had. My anxiety melted away when I walked through the door. Dr. O'Nele explained everything, as well as talked to me while doing the extraction and put my mind at ease. It was about the easiest tooth extraction I have ever had. So blessed my dentist referred me to a wonderful place. Thank you so much for your wonderful care.

I would not recommend this clinic—stay away. They have the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced.
When I first called to make an appointment, the front desk staff was rude and unprofessional. Then, they required me to fill out paperwork and mail it in before my first visit, which seemed outdated and inconvenient.
Unfortunately, I had a work emergency and couldn’t attend my first exam. I called the clinic the night before—about 14 hours in advance—to let them know. I understand it wasn’t a full 24-hour notice, but I still made the effort to leave a message after hours.
Despite this, I received a call back from the same rude front desk person, who harshly informed me that I would be charged $135 for the missed appointment. I’ve since spoken with others, and many have said this clinic is known for poor service and that other places would never charge for a first-time cancellation like this—especially without a signed agreement.
Looking back, I should have trusted my gut when the front desk was rude during the initial call.

I got to thinking about Dr. O’Nele the other day when wisdom teeth got brought up and wanted to send him some praise. He removed my wisdom teeth awhile back and was super professional and nice. A couple days later I got dry sockets due to my own negligence and he got me in right a way and packed them for me. He didn’t charge me for the appointment since it only took 5 minutes. It goes to show how much he truly cares about his patients and isn’t in it for only money like a lot of other medical professionals out there.
Thank you doc and if I ever need oral surgery you can be sure I’ll be coming to you!

I went to Dr. O'Nele for my wisdom teeth removal and he was very informative and technicaly descriptive throughout the process. The staff at his office are also amazing! I felt like I was being taken care of like a family member the whole time, and it made the process so much less nerve wracking. 100 percent would recommend!

This office is truly amazing the process was easy from start to finish. Front desk reception Shelly was very easy to work with and explains everything straightforward. Dr. O'neil and his nurse were the most caring and knowledgeable staff I have come across. I could not recommend this office more. Surgery was fast and recovery was easy with little to no pain. If you are looking to get wisdom teeth removed this is the place to go.

Meet the Doctors
Dr. Scott O'Nele, DMD, MD was born and raised in Lincoln and earned his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from Washington University in St. Louis in 1986. He completed his oral and maxillofacial surgery residency at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, where he served as chief resident and received additional training in anesthesiology, and earned his medical degree through the Medical College of Pennsylvania. Dr. O'Nele is board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and is a Fellow of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He serves as a part-time clinical instructor at the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry and holds surgical privileges at Bryan LGH Medical Center and the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Lincoln. His special interests include wisdom tooth removal, dental implants, and oral pathology.
