I had an excellent experience at Shavano Park Facial Surgery. The entire implant process was smooth from start to finish. Trish was amazing and took the time to help me understand my insurance and financial options, which was the most stressful part for me. The Assistant was so kind and reassuring, explaining everything about the sedation and procedure and making me feel comfortable every step of the way while assisting Dr. Schmitz. Dr. Schmitz made my extraction and implant procedure go smoothly, and I felt well cared for throughout. I highly recommend this team for anyone needing oral surgery!

I had surgery with Dr. Schmitz, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, Dr. Schmitz and the entire staff were incredibly kind, professional, and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. They took the time to answer my questions and made sure I felt at ease.
For the follow-up care, they checked on me regularly after my procedure and were always available if I had questions or concerns. That level of care and attention meant a lot and showed they truly care about their patients.
They also have the cutest little Yorkie at the front desk who greets everyone. It definitely helps brighten your day and makes the office feel even more welcoming.
I highly recommend Dr. Schmitz and the team at Shavano Park Facial Surgery. Thank you all for taking such great care of me!

Dr. Schmitz along with his staff were exceptional! He's very kind, gentle, and has a great sense of humor. The staff was absolutely comforting in explaining what to expect during and after my procedure. I tend to be skittish when it comes to dental work. However, I am completely comfortable and unnerved the second I arrive Dr. Schmitz office. I highly recommend Shavano Park Facial Surgery.

We came in for wisdom teeth extraction. The office staff is courteous and take the time to explain the procedure in depth. The Dental Assistant called me the next day to make sure I was recovering well & to offer support. Dr. J Schmitz has a wide range of experience & it shows.
They even have an adorable Yorkie puppy that stays at the front desk.

My son Joshua had his 4 wisdom teeth removed by Dr Schmitz. Dr Schmitz and his staff were amazing. They explained everything very well and my son was at ease knowing what to expect. They answered all our questions and promptly responded to text messages answering any concerns. Great experience and would recommend to anyone needing this procedure!
