Dr. Shelby and the staff are concerned and caring about your dental care. The procedures are explained fully, and your input is important to them. Dr. Shelby is gentle and wants to make sure the procedures he does are not painful. I highly recommend them.

I can’t say enough great things about this practice! From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted by a warm, friendly staff that truly makes you feel comfortable and valued. Dr. Shelby is incredibly kind, professional, and takes the time to explain everything in a way that puts you at ease. What really stands out is the level of care and attention given to patients by the entire staff! You never feel rushed, and it’s clear they genuinely care about your health and progress. I’ve seen significant improvement in a short period of time, which speaks volumes about their expertise and dedication. If you’re looking for a periodontist who combines skill, compassion, and an outstanding team, I highly recommend this office!

I had several procedures at Shelby Periodontics including extractions ,bone grafts , implants and gum tissue construction . I am very impressed with Dr.Shelby and his team . Each procedure was fully explained and pre procedure - post procedure instructions were thoroughly explained . During each visit the staff and Doctor were very accommodating and helped put me at ease during the procedures , keeping me comfortable and paying close attention to other medical problems I have . I felt very secure about the quality of care and the professional abilities of those attending to me . Dr. Shelby and my referring dentist communicated often and eventually I was green lighted to start the process of implant secured dentures and implant secured partial involving two crowns and a few of my natural teeth . I am only a step away from completion and the restoration of my smile , clearer speech , ability to chew food and overall confidence .I am grateful to Dr. Shelby and his team for helping me through this process and I would totally recommend them for your periodontal needs .

If you need an implant, then you have nothing to worry about with Dr. Shelby. He will take very good care of you . He knows what he is doing and his assistants and office staff are excellent. I know that it is not something to look forward to , but if you need this procedure then Dr. Shelby and his team are caring and do excellent work.

I just can’t say enough positive things about my experience with Shelby Periodontics. Everyone I communicated with, from the administrative folks, techs, to Dr. Shelby himself, was kind and treated me respectfully. Dr. Shelby didn’t over-promise (he gave realistic outcome expectations) but definitely over-delivered. I was incredibly nervous about the procedure, but it went well and four months post-op, I am even more satisfied with the outcome. Highly recommend.
