My experience with this dental office was extremely frustrating and unprofessional, primarily due to the front desk staff, Nicole. I visited the office twice and was told by Nicole that I was out of network, which meant I had to pay out of pocket upfront. Trusting this information, I paid. I later confirmed with my insurance that I was actually in-network, and that payments had already been issued directly to the office—something that was never disclosed to me. In addition, I paid a $200 deposit for a crown. After finding a more affordable option elsewhere, I chose not to move forward with treatment here. Shortly after, Nicole contacted me to schedule the procedure as soon as possible, likely tied to the payments they had already received and wanting to avoid issuing a refund. When I requested a refund for both the services I paid for and the deposit, I was told to come in on Friday (03/20). I confirmed this by phone and via text. I work at a law firm and have a demanding schedule, but I left work early to make it. When I arrived, the office was closed and the door was locked. After calling, someone eventually let me in, but she explained she was only covering the front desk because the staff had already left. After she called Nicole, the lady informed me Nicole stated the doctor had not prepared the refund check and that I would need to return the following Wednesday (03/25). This situation reflects a serious lack of communication, organization, and professionalism. It is incredibly disappointing, especially after I made the effort to adjust my work schedule. I want to be clear that I had a positive experience with Dr. Peralza and appreciate his care. However, my experience with Nicole was extremely disappointing. The lack of communication, organization, and respect for my time has made it clear that I will not be returning.

I was looking for a great honest Dr and when o walked in to Dr.Perlaza’s office I got a very warm welcome from ladies in front. Then office is very clean and well organized I recommend Dr.perlaza to my family and friend's. He is all about listening to me as the patient and what I would like to do…

I’ve had numerous work done here between cleanings and wisdom teeth removal and they do an amazing job at cleanliness, friendliness, punctuality, professionalism, and making the process smooth and comfortable. I can’t imagine there being a better dentistry in LA and I’m very fortunate I found them - highly recommend Dr. Perlaza and the entire team at Sherman Oaks Dentistry and will be back for any and all future work.

I had the most incredible experience as a new patient at this dental office! From the moment I walked in, Aurora at the front desk welcomed me with a sweet smile and a sense of humor that instantly put me at ease 😁✨. Luis, the dental assistant, was not only super nice and hilarious but also had a great bedside manner, making the whole experience enjoyable and relaxed 😎🗣️. Dr. Perlaza is truly top-notch! He used the latest technology to scan my mouth 🦷🔬 and gave me an honest, efficient, and friendly analysis of my teeth. I felt like I was in the best hands possible 👏💯. And a special shoutout to Paula, the dental hygienist, who went above and beyond to fit me into her schedule. She was professional, empathetic, and did an amazing job cleaning my teeth 🪥✨. This place is simply the best – I’m giving it an eleven out of ten ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️! If you’re looking for a dental office that combines top-of-the-line technology with a warm and friendly team, this is it. I loved being a patient here. The office and patient area is nicely setup. Everyone is kind and welcoming. In the time I was a patient, each of my dentists made sure to connect with me to make me feel comfortable and address any concerns (if any) of mine.
