I was referred to Dr. Wallace by a couple of Santa Barbara Dentists
He was highly recommended as the go to guy for extractions and implants.
My mouth was in really bad shape. I needed several teeth removed, and I was already missing teeth that I badly needed for chewing. Needless to say I was really depressed about the whole thing. Dr. Wallace proposed a plan that would allow me to have a full healthy mouth of teeth.
I needed quite a bit of work that included 6 implants.
Surprisingly,I never experienced much pain after the surgical procedures and mostly all I ever needed to take was aspirin. He is a thoughtful and skilled oral surgeon who always kept my comfort a priority.
Christenia and his office staff were kind and professional and incredibly accommodating with my ever-changing unpredictable work schedule.
Cut to today, because of Dr. Wallace‘s work, I have a healthy mouth and a full set of teeth thanks to his work.
I just can’t thank him enough.
He had the vision and held it for me when I was was pretty sure nothing could be done.

Came to Dr. Wallace for my wisdom teeth removal and the experience was 10 out of 10! Honestly, I was terrified at first to have my teeth removed, but Dr. Wallace and his team are so kind and made the entire process so easy. I had zero swelling in my recovery was quick and pain was very very minimal. Highly recommend!

Dr. Wallace is the best oral surgeon Santa Barbara has to offer. My wisdom teeth removal surgery went flawless and him and his staff were eager to answer all of my questions throughout the post-op healing process. Dr. Wallace is extremely kind, understanding, and helpful. His office is warm and welcoming and calmed my nerves.

I just finished my last visit at Dr. Wallace’s office. I had an old bridge fail ( the two front teeth. One of the bridge teeth broke at the gum line). The repair was going to be implants for the two front teeth. First time in this office. The staff is amazing! Five star. Professional, courteous, and friendly they made me feel like I was in great hands. The surgery was smooth and everything went amazingly well. Thanks to Dr Wallace and his surgical staff. I can’t say enough good things. And words don’t describe how happy I am to have met this team. I highly recommend Dr Wallace and his staff for your dental needs. Thanks are not enough.!

Dr. Wallace cares for three generations of our family, and we wouldn't want to put this amount of trust in any other surgeon. He has removed wisdom teeth, placed implants, and performed more complex surgery. He recently diagnosed an unusual bone growth in the palate of my mouth and patiently observed the process in a timely manner until extraction.
He is caring, professional, thoughtful, and his office is welcoming and efficient.

Shoreline Oral Surgery and Dental Implants is the Santa Barbara practice of Dr. Eric M. Wallace, a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, located at 1515 State Street, Suite 9 in downtown Santa Barbara. The practice focuses on dental implant care, from replacing a single missing tooth to planning treatment when all teeth are missing, along with wisdom tooth removal, bone grafting, corrective jaw surgery, and care for facial pain, facial injuries, and jaw joint disorders. Dr. Wallace uses computerized imaging to plan implant treatment, places single stage implants that do not require a second uncovering procedure, and in some cases can place an implant at the same visit as a tooth extraction. Patients also have a full range of anesthesia options, with the staff specially trained to assist with surgical procedures and anesthesia.
For patients with metal sensitivities or allergies, Dr. Wallace has additional training in placing completely metal free dental implants, an option the practice invites patients to ask about during a consultation. Meet the Doctors
Dr. Eric M. Wallace, DDS leads the practice. He is a board certified oral and maxillofacial surgeon, a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Anesthesia. He earned his Bachelor of Science degree at Colgate University, attended New York University College of Dentistry, and completed his residency in oral surgery at the Albert Einstein School of Medicine in New York. He has extensive training and experience in tooth extraction, bone and soft tissue grafting, dental implants, anesthesia, and the treatment of facial trauma, and he routinely lectures on minimally invasive extraction and implant techniques. He has lived in Santa Barbara since 2003.
