My husband recently began the process of getting implants and we are so very happy with the whole process being handled by Shreveport Periodontal Specialists. From the moment we walked into their building we knew we were in the right place. The staff were super nice and professional. They were very friendly and we were so comfortable with our surroundings immediately. They listened to us and were very courteous. We never felt rushed or like we were just a number. Dr. Callahan is also friendly, obviously knowledgeable, and professional. He answered our questions without hesitation. His surgery procedure was flawless. And as my husband continues to move forward with the process we just keep smiling. We recommend this practice highly and especially Dr. Callahan. And we salute the office staff including medical personnel, front office, Hannah (who eased our minds about cost and the many questions we had in the beginning), and so many others whose names escape me at the moment. If you are in need of Periodontal work, by all means call this practice.

This is an amazing place for at ease periodontal treatment. The staff is top notch!
Dr. O’Neill is very knowledgeable and informative of any and all your periodontal needs~ Thus allowing you to your own decision making. He is “down to earth” and a professional. It is obvious, he takes pride in his profession. It shows ❣️

Dr. Calahan and Barbara made my gum graft procedure comfortable and painless. Everyone is very knowledgeable and friendly. 10/10 would recommend getting your dental/gum services done here.

It was a very nice experience with the greeting from the ladies in the front and also the one on 1 interaction with Dr. O’Neill. I was really embarrassed about my mouth and he really did a good job with letting me know what I need to do to start my journey to repair my teeth and gums. It was not rushed, and I feel like I left the appointment with a lot of confidence in how my journey is going to go. Also, the assistant that staying in the room the entire time gave some helpful tips and she was extremely nice. She seem extremely authentic with a conversation me and her had about my teeth and also the improvement process. Once I was finish with Dr. O’Neill he let me know where I needed to go and what I needed to do and after he left a young lady also went over my treatment plan. They are environment. Seems like a tight, authentic and friendly unit. I definitely will go back because I’m going to be doing the treatment plan and I am excited about my journey and also taking the steps he advise me to take.
