My first visit to the new office! Such a beautiful space. Carrie did my cleaning and she was fantastic! So friendly and my teeth felt incredible after. Happy to see Signature Dental growing!

Great experience! Very nice place, timely, clean, informative, very nice and friendly staff. Professional and up to date with technology. They did a great job with cleaning w/o pain or discomfort. I no longer live in the area but will continue going there. I highly recommend.

I have anxiety with dentists due to a past traumatic experience. I had to have a molar pulled. I just wanted to get it done so in spite of my apprehension I pushed myself to get it done. I didn’t know I was going to have it removed prior to coming in, so I wasn’t really prepared. I had a panic attack while in the chair prior to the start of the procedure. Both the dentist and her assistant were incredibly patient and gentle with me. They talked me through it and not once made me feel bad for my anxiety. I cannot speak highly enough to the level of care I received. Thank you so much.

Avoid these dentists. They are more concerned about trying to upsell services to you than doing quality dental work. They did a few fillings for me and since then I'm unable to chew on the side of my mouth that they did work on because it's painful. Their office staff is rude as well. When they wanted to charge me to try and correct the fillings they did that are causing me pain and I questioned why I was being charged for them to try to fix the work they already billed me for once, the person that does the billing was extremely rude to me and then told me to feel free to find a new dentist. Do yourself a favor and find a different dentist.

The staff at Signature Dental went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. I have some dental anxiety; they understood and were so helpful. I am thankful to have found them for my dental needs!

Signature Dental is a family dental practice at 2926 E. Midland Road in Bay City, Michigan, serving Bay City families and the wider Great Lakes Bay Region with general, cosmetic, implant, and Invisalign care for patients of every age. The practice describes its approach as functional, esthetic dentistry built on a conservative philosophy: it treats natural tooth structure as the most valuable material in your mouth and aims to help you keep more of your own teeth. The team is also a Platinum Plus Invisalign Provider and invests in technology such as 3D cone beam imaging, digital impressions, and CEREC same-day crowns.

For patients with missing teeth, Signature Dental offers single tooth implants, implant-supported bridges, All-on-4 full arch restorations, implant-supported dentures, bone grafting, and sinus lifts. The practice uses 3D cone beam imaging for planning and guided surgical placement, and handles care in house from the initial consultation through the final crown. Implant consultations include a review of your 3D imaging and a clear written plan with transparent pricing, and CareCredit and Sunbit financing are available. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM and Friday from 7:00 AM to 2:00 PM, and new patients are welcome.

Meet the Doctors

Signature Dental's clinical team includes Dr. Ashley Halm, DMD, who provides comprehensive general dentistry including cosmetic care, oral surgery, and dentistry for children; Dr. Brianna Kosecki, DDS, a 2023 University of Michigan School of Dentistry graduate who completed a general practice residency at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center with training in implant placement and restoration; Dr. John McLaren, BSE, DDS, MS, who earned his dental degree and a Master of Science in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Michigan, serves as an Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor at the U-M School of Dentistry, and focuses on dental implants, Invisalign, and cosmetic dentistry; and Dr. Charles McLaren, BSE, DDS, MS, who also holds a master's in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Michigan, formerly taught there, and focuses on cosmetic dentistry, all-ceramic restorations, and full-mouth rehabilitation. Dr. John McLaren co-owns the practice, and both Dr. John and Dr. Charles McLaren bring their University of Michigan restorative training to the practice's implant cases.
