My move to Charlotte, NC, around January 2025, was immediately followed by a series of unpleasant encounters with nearly six different dental providers. During these instances, I felt genuinely threatened by their aggressive push for upselling unneeded procedures, treatments far exceeding what my trusted WA Dentist of over ten years had recommended.
Everything changed in September 2025, when I happened upon Signature Periodontics Huntersville. As of December 2025, I have happily completed two visits and treatments with them that were completely stress-free.
The integrity of this practice, specifically the Doctor (apologies for forgetting her name) and the Hygienist, Alexis, is what truly sets them apart. They showed a genuine concern and deep understanding of my needs and overall well-being.
Alexis performed my two SRP maintenance procedures. Her approach was phenomenal: she detailed each step, ensuring I was comfortable and informed throughout the entire treatment. Her gentle touch and incredible attention to detail made a typically stressful experience surprisingly very relaxing... almost enjoyable.
A huge thank you to Alexis 👍👍👍

Five stars for the doctors and the staff! From the front desk to the hygienists, everyone is professional, welcoming, and punctual. I never have to wait long in the lobby, and they are very transparent about costs and insurance. It makes a complex dental journey so much easier to navigate.

I cannot say enough great things about Signature Perio in Huntersville. From the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel welcome, comfortable, and genuinely cared for.
The office is spotless, modern, and very well organized. The front desk staff is friendly and efficient, making scheduling and check-in completely stress-free. You can immediately tell they value their patients’ time and experience.
The doctor and clinical team are exceptional. They take the time to thoroughly explain every step of the process, answer questions patiently, and make sure you fully understand your treatment options. I never felt rushed or pressured—just supported and informed. Their expertise and attention to detail truly set them apart.
What really stands out is how compassionate and gentle everyone is. Periodontal visits can feel intimidating, but they go above and beyond to ensure comfort throughout the entire appointment. I felt confident I was in the best possible hands.
If you’re looking for a skilled, professional, and caring periodontal office in the Huntersville area, I highly recommend Signature Perio. They deliver outstanding care with a personal touch that is hard to find.

Came here for a second opinion (and because they're in my provider's network) after going to a "highly recommended" periodontist. Dr. Pater was really nice and took her time to explain my treatment. After my visit, I felt more at ease and well informed. I definitely recommend them!
