Wisdom Tooth removal experience(Brookings) —
I had severe complications with my wisdom tooth for the last 2 years. Finally got those stubborn tooth out with the help of this amazing team. 1 week before the surgery, they checked in with me with the preparation and confirmation which I deeply appreciate. On the day of the surgery, the receptionist was really helpful. Then Jasmine was such a sweetheart and her gorgeous smile instantly made me feel comfy. I was really nervous and panicking but she put me on ease. Explained everything properly and listened to my painful history sympathetically, she carefully noted down what medications don’t work for me. Chatted with me before I fell asleep after getting anesthesia. I forgot the other person’s name but she was also made me very comfortable. She was explaining what to expect while injecting all the necessary stuffs. They made sure I was aware of everything they were performing while I was awake. Everything went just smoothly. Dr. Miller was just great! I appreciate their post-op area/ environment that they provided for me and my spouse. They made sure I was properly recovering by texting the next morning. Absolutely loved their service. Highly recommend them!

Awesome experience. EVERYONE was super nice and very helpful. Doctor was a super sweet guy. Dental assistant listened to everything I said. Very sweet and kind. Thank you. You have changed my opinion on going to the dentist. Thank you very much.

Brie and Dr.Miller are amazing!!! My daughter had her wisdom teeth cut out and did great at explaining everything to her so she knew what was going on and their instructions on after care if followed make for a speedy recovery!!!

I had a tooth extracted from Siouxland Oral Surgery in Brookings and I couldn't be more pleased with the care and kindness I was shown from the time I made a appointment to the actual extraction performed by Dr George, Thank you! Siouxland Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery is an oral surgery practice with four South Dakota offices in Sioux Falls, Mitchell, Yankton, and Brookings. The Brookings office at 1736 6th Street is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, and the practice says it has served patients and families in the Brookings community for decades. The office also serves surrounding areas including Madison, Colman, Watertown, and Pipestone in South Dakota, and Lake Benton and Ivanhoe in Minnesota. For patients with missing or failing teeth, the practice offers dental implants for single-tooth replacement, bone grafting to build a secure foundation in the jaw, and full-arch restoration, which uses several implants to support a fixed set of teeth as an alternative to removable dentures. The practice also describes a Teeth-in-a-Day option, in which implants support a fixed denture in one or both arches.
Beyond implant care, the practice provides wisdom teeth removal, general tooth extractions, treatment for impacted canines, pre-prosthetic surgery, corrective jaw surgery, treatment for TMJ (jaw joint) disorders, facial trauma care, sleep apnea treatment, cleft lip and palate care, and oral pathology. Meet the Doctors
The Brookings office is served by the practice's three oral and maxillofacial surgeons: Denis Miller, DDS, MBA; Louis George, DMD; and Jason Leet, DDS. Dr. Miller has been an oral and maxillofacial surgeon since 1998 and is a co-owner of the practice. Dr. George joined Siouxland Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery in 2007 after moving from the East Coast and is also a co-owner. Dr. Leet grew up in Yankton, South Dakota, and completed dental school at the University of Minnesota in 2013 before joining the practice.
