Simply a wonderful environment and experience. Front desk staff is very welcoming and friendly. Amy (hygienist) is amazing. Makes the time fly by with great conversation and makes the cleaning easy. Dr. Skinner is awesome! Very caring and knowledgeable. Great doctor! Highly recommend as soon as they start accepting new patients again!

My first visit to Dr. Skinner’s clinic was an excellent experience. I was truly impressed by the professionalism, expertise and the high quality of care provided by Dr. Skinner and his team. Everyone was friendly and attentive, making me feel comfortable throughout the visit. I would highly recommend Dr Skinner and his colleagues to anyone looking for outstanding dental care.

Skinner Family Dentistry has been our dentist of choice for decades. Our whole family has been treated by Dr. Connors and now Dr. Skinner after he took over the business many years ago. The dental hygienists are always meticulous with the cleanings and accommodations are made for your comfort and schedule. Dr. Skinner’s first concern is painless dental work, always checking in on pain level and communicating about the length of a procedure. The staff is friendly and communication is their No. 1 goal from calendar reminders for appointments to payment plans. No one loves going to the dentist but Skinner Family Dentistry is a feel good experience/atmosphere and you walk out knowing they have gone over and above with your dental care. After all dental work they also check in the following day or two for comfort and satisfaction. Highly recommended!! Five ⭐️

Dr. Skinner and his staff always make me feel comfortable and I feel like I can say they’ve officially helped me get over my dental anxiety. Absolutely love how Dr. Skinner will tell me I did a good job at the end of my appointment, it makes me feel validated that it CAN be scary and gives encouragement to continue keeping up with my dental health. Won’t be going anywhere else for as long as I can!

I had an amazing experience at this dentist’s office! The entire team was incredibly knowledgeable and honest, which I really appreciated. I’ve been to multiple dentists over the years and none of them have given me the kind of detailed information and clarity that this office did. Everyone was super friendly, helpful, and made me feel completely comfortable from start to finish. I’m so grateful I found them — highly recommend!

Skinner Family Dentistry is a family dental practice in downtown Mankato, Minnesota, located in the Union Square building at the corner of North Broad Street and Mulberry. Since 2019, Dr. Skinner and the team have provided family dental care to the Greater Mankato Area, welcoming new and existing patients for one-on-one consultations, dental X-rays, professional cleanings, and customized treatment planning. The practice offers a full range of services, from essential cleanings and check-ups to restorations and aesthetic services, and its treatment offerings include root canal therapy, extractions, and same-day emergency dentistry whenever possible. For patients missing one or more teeth, the practice offers dental implant restorations: a specialist surgically places the implant posts, and the Skinner Family Dentistry team then attaches the custom crown, bridge, or denture to complete the restoration.
