All the staff, from the front receptionists to the medical support team, are well trained and Dr Leopold is a perfectionist, always making sure the final outcome of any procedure is, well…perfect! It’s so important to see that he reinvests into the dental practice by maintaining the most up to date equipment and training for the whole staff. I couldn’t be happier having become a patient at SLO Smiles!!!! Definitely the best!

After years of neglect I decided to go to SLO Smiles. The office staff was engaging and friendly. Cassie ( the dental assistant) did a fantastic job of making me feel at ease and explained everything. Dr. Meridith Morgan was every bit as friendly and knowledgeable. I spent a couple of hours with them so they could evaluate and set a plan in place that would best suit my needs. I was impressed with their attention to detail and how comfortable they made me feel. Thumbs up 👍

I see Lisa at SLO Smiles for my cleanings, and she is truly exceptional. She’s incredibly thorough, attentive, and gentle especially with some sensitive areas in my mouth. I always feel comfortable knowing she takes the time to ensure everything is done carefully and with great attention to detail. The entire experience at SLO Smiles is excellent, from the warm and welcoming atmosphere to the use of warm water during cleanings, which makes a noticeable difference in comfort. I highly recommend Lisa and the SLO Smiles team for anyone looking for outstanding dental care.

Let me start by saying, hands down, Ian is the BEST. He’s detailed, thorough and works with extreme precision in everything he does. I first came to Ian about a year ago because I needed basically a whole new mouth due to decades of consistent grinding. I needed gum grafting with crowns/veneers all around. He directed me to a colleague of his; Dr. Goroski at Comprehensive Dental for my gum grafting. After recovering from gum surgery, Ian was able to build me a detailed, comprehensive treatment plan for my teeth. He worked with an extremely talented ceramics to construct the perfect teeth. Ones that match up aesthetically to my facial features as well as structurally integral. These teeth were better than I expected and even more of what I didn’t know I wanted. I initially ‘thought’ I wanted more of that artificial veneer look, just not extremely white. However, after Leopold’s counsel as well as my own research on social media, watching videos of people’s veneer “journeys” I decided against the artificial look and went with something kind of in between; natural but enhanced. I’m so glad I did. Lastly, I can say with a fair amount of certainty that I am likely the most particular, specific, obsessive, adamant and most exhaustive client he’s ever had or will ever have. Yet, he still won me over with his insatiable, truly genuine desire to get everything just exactly the way I wanted it. Just right. No matter what. Another reason why he’s the best.
