We love Lori, our hygienist. She is so diligent and knowledgeable. The office ladies are so nice! Dr. Smart has helped us out in a pinch so many times. She treats my son like one of her own boys. We love Smart Dentistry!

Smart Family Dentistry used the latest technology to create a crown for the implant for a removed tooth. It was much more easier and more pleasant than using the older process off taking a mold of the tooth prior to removal with that thick molding material. The entire team is on point with every dental need I have encountered for the past 18-years. Highly recommend! Dan

I always love to go have my teeth cleaned. Dr. Smart鈥檚 dental office is always so nice the way you are greeted and welcomed. The excellent service you receive is very special. My teeth are so much better because of their service. Thank you everyone there.

I've had a lot of stressors in my life recently (hit a deer, winter storm, etc.), and I (58 years old) acted like a baby and was tearful for a simple filling.... way beyond normal dentist anxiety. Dr. Smart and her assistant were so kind and gracious, even offering to reschedule me. I stuck with it. The procedure was quick and painless. She was SO understanding and comforting.

Born and raised in Abilene, she earned a Bachelor of General Studies degree from Texas Tech University in 1999 and her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2004. She returned home to reopen the Abilene practice originally run by her father, Dr. Don W. Roberts, who practiced dentistry in Abilene for 30 years. Dr. Smart is a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, the Seventeenth District Dental Society, and the SPEAR Study Club, and is an Invisalign provider. Her clinical team includes registered dental hygienists Lori Carson and Baylie Little and registered dental assistants Meredith Brannon and Kaylea Allen.
