Smile Now Tacoma Dentures and Implants

I went in for my consultation on Oct 29, 2025. For Dental Implants. We talked with Alysson about how much procedure would cost, what to except, etc we also meant with Dr. Tolbert and he to explained any questions we had. We felt very comfortable with what they went over. After some thinking we decided to go ahead and have Dr. Tolbert do my implants. So we scheduled it for Dec 19, went in that morning and they hooked up blood pressure cup, did an IV and I was put to sleep, I had all my bottom teeth pulled. (They were really bad) And had 4 titanium implants put in, and when I woke up, I had a beautiful set of teeth. I will say I had slight pain for several days and my cheeks were black and blue. Had to eat soft food for several weeks. Anytime I had a question, I would call and they were always accommodating. If I needed to have something looked at they were always getting me in right away. I am very happy with my beautiful bottom teeth, and thankful for the team at Smile Now in Tacoma.

I’m a ICU/ER trauma Nurse, initial training in ENT( ear, nose, throat) ortho/ neuro surgery, complicated oral surgeries. I know an unforeseen complication can happen under the best circumstances with every precaution taken. What matters is the ability and expertise of the MD and medical staff to respond as needed. I’m very impressed and grateful to Dr Tolbert, the anesthesiologist, and the staff’s immediate coordinated response to a complication I experienced. Dr Tolbert coordinated exceptional care with my primary provider going above and beyond as he and his staff provided optimum support, continued medical care and necessary communication to provide vital pain management and essential preventive care and support. As a trauma RN, I am impressed with the professionalism and compassion of Dr Tolbert, the anesthesiologist Andrew, patient care coordinator and office manager Allison, and all staff. Each ensuring I had essential care and support to alleviate undo stress, concern, or further complications . I greatly appreciate such genuine care and kindness. I have such respect and confidence in the capability of Dr Tolbert and staff and gratitude for the care I’ve received. The outcome is beyond all expectations. Thank you to all the staff at Smile Now. Additional accolades to patient coordinator, office manager, Allison for her exceptional attention to detail insuring patients have a complete understanding of the process and outcome, Allison maintained communication and availability to address any concerns or questions throughout the entire process fulfilling the role of an outstanding patient advocate.

My mom received a full set of new teeth from smile now and I am so happy we chose them for her care. My mom is chronically ill with a pain disease. This being the case, she is considered a complexed patient in regarding controlling her pain and bleeding. As her caretaker I felt immense support from Dr. Tolbert and the amazing staff. I was so thankful for their on call service, as I was never alone when I felt overwhelmed or had questions regarding her post op care. They were there for us through all of it and we are so so thankful. You don’t realize not having a smile you’re proud of can do to one’s confidence. My mom didn’t want to laugh or smile without covering her mouth. It broke my heart. To now see her smile constantly, so confident in her new beautiful teeth has brought me so much comfort and joy. My mom finally feels like her self and I couldn’t be more grateful. My mom being sick, we’ve unfortunately faced a lot of bad care and judgement. She has terrible PTSD because of this. The experience she’s had with smile now has helped to restore her faith in the medical community. They are gentle, kind, and completely understanding people. Anyone who is looking to help revise their teeth should look no further than smile now. They’ve changed my moms life and mine as well as her daughter and caregiver seeing her no longer self conscious of her smile. I cannot thank them enough. A special thank you to Alyson with her kindness and care for my mom and of course Dr. Tolbert in his amazing treatment of my mom and even checking on me as her caretaker. Completely above and beyond people!

From the first time I walked into the office I was made to feel like I was the most important person in the world. All my questions were answered to my satisfaction. Alysson and Jazzy were welcoming and very helpful. I can't wait to begin this journey with the Smile Now family.

Smile Now was so accommodating & truly went out of their way to make me feel at ease with everything involved during my initial consultation. All my questions were answered & everything was explained in detail. Allison really knows her stuff & is such a sweetheart. She makes you feel like you’re just sitting there talking to a friend. I appreciate that so much because I have a lot of anxiety when it comes to dentists. I recommend Smile now Tacoma to anyone who has any interest in maybe getting implants. They’re very forthcoming when asked about different procedures or products even if it’s not in their best interest. Thank you for making my consultation so easy for me, Allison. You are so good at what you do. I haven’t decided what path I’m going to take yet but that’s only because I haven’t had a chance to review all the information given to me. I have everything needed to make a decision & that will happen shortly.
