Wow - this is the first time ever i walked into dental office and felt peace, energy of happiness and an experience that changed how i feel about the importance of health from the mouth first. The place is not just beautiful, it is cutting edge in quality, superior care and the complete systems for covering complete health needs. I would never have expected to leave Smilebody excited for the next visit. I learned so much about what i need, why and the benefits. I discovered this is not dental office as we expect. The mission is obvious. To improve the quality of life for all. I never knew the importance of oral care. I always thought it was about the teeth. But the real health is far deeper. I could go on writing more, but i urge anyone who truly cares about their health, wants to have more energy, success and quality in life to visit Smilebody. Only then will you know what i am writing is all i say, and more. Thank you Dr Ben, and Dr Shawn and the amazing team members i met. SmileBody Holistic Dentistry in Santa Clarita is truly on another level! Dr Shawn and Ben Javid are incredibly knowledgeable, and you can feel their passion and expertise from the very first moment. The entire team is exceptionally friendly, caring, and professional — you feel genuinely welcomed and supported throughout the whole visit. The location itself is beautiful and filled with impressive high-tech equipment used not only to prepare and fix, but truly to heal. What left me speechless is their holistic approach: they don’t just look at your teeth, they assess your health on a whole-body level and connect the dots in a way I’ve never experienced at a dental practice before. This is honestly the first dentist place where you actually want to go back. If you’re looking for next-level, integrative, and truly caring dentistry, SmileBody is it. Highly, highly recommended!!!!

They have a very nice facility (though it is very close to some large power lines) and the staff are nice and and welcoming and informative in person. I love that they have a cone beam CT scan machine, which is somewhat rare to find. I like that they use ozone as a disinfectant and generally use less toxic ingredients than standard practice requires. The technology they use to identify recession is AI based - not making a judgement, just never encountered that before. They are generally more tech focused than any other practice I've visited, making it a point of pride to show the patient detailed scans and images of their mouth on a screen, which is considerate and somewhat rare. It's great that they take the whole throat health and function into consideration of oral issues (and just general health and wellness issues) and bring up the possibility of sleep apnea being a factor (they even offer sleep tests), which most dentists don't address further than recommending a retainer. The fact that they offer nutrition counseling and IV therapy speaks to the focus on holistic health, which is great. During the doctor's "exam" (more like a consultation) he never actually looked inside my mouth with his own eyes or put his hands inside to inspect in person, just analyzed the images taken. I guess he didn't want to inspect the tongue or other tissues in motion for some reason? Maybe they believe the image analysis alone is sufficient. (I hope they are able to adequately screen for oral cancer through images alone.) I was disappointed by the teeth clean I received (admittedly it was a substitute and not a regular hygienist). The polish was too abrasive for my taste (kind of felt like being sand blasted by that polishing machine). And the hygienist's touch was less delicate and precise than I prefer. I also had an issue with a receptionist not cancelling an appointment as directed over the phone. I wish they had a public facing email address, as I find that some things seem to get lost over the phone and I would prefer a record of correspondence. Overall, very pricey (but that's to be expected for a boutique, boujee practice). Some of the unique, specialist services probably justify the price but for regular oral hygiene maintenance I'll be looking elsewhere.

After almost a year of dental work including 8 amalgam restorations, 2 old and cracked crowns replaced, 2 root canal therapy and 2 dental implants I am happy to say my teeth are everything I could hope for, pretty with a perfect bite! The staff were friendly and professional, I will definitely recommend anytime
