Dr Joe and all the staff are knowledgeable, kind, friendly, professional and caring. My treatment plan was thoroughly laid out and explained as to what was most urgent.
Dr. Joe is gentle and very concerned if you the patient are comfortable. He has years of knowledge and continues to educate himself and staff on new procedures and equipment
He is the only dentist I trust.

Extremely pleasant experience! I was referred by a good friend and business partner and I came in for tooth pain. Doctor did a limited exam, identified the issue and extracted two wisdom teeth within 2 hours. I plan on making Smile Makers my primary dentist. 10/10 recommend, the staff is also amazing.

About Smilemakers
SmileMakers is a family dental practice serving the Apple Valley and Helendale areas of California, with its Apple Valley office located at 19063 Highway 18. The practice describes itself as committed to providing quality dental services in a friendly atmosphere and welcomes new patients. Dental implants are part of a broad range of services offered under one roof, alongside dentures and bridges to replace missing teeth, crowns and veneers, teeth whitening, sealants, extractions and root canals, bone grafts, orthodontics including Invisalign, pediatric care, and treatment for jaw joint problems. Preventive care, digital x-rays, and emergency dental services are also available.
For patients considering implants, the practice explains that implants are usually made of titanium and placed in the jawbone to provide a stable foundation for an individual replacement tooth or for multi-tooth devices such as dentures and bridges. SmileMakers also offers mini dental implants, which are about half the diameter of a standard implant, and a laser treatment called LAPIP that targets infection around existing dental implants to help save and stabilize them. Related gum treatments include LANAP, a no-cut laser procedure for gum disease. The office lists technology such as panoramic x-ray imaging, an intraoral camera, an iTero digital scanner for impressions, and CEREC same-day restorations. Free consultations are offered, and financing information is available on the practice's patient information page.
