We initially started at this dental office after being given a treatment plan that outlined care for a limited number of teeth. However, by the time we were sent to the Somerset office, we were told there were additional problem teeth, and the recommended treatment had escalated significantly to include possible root canal and/or pulling all remaining baby teeth. This was extremely concerning, especially since these new recommendations were made without taking updated X-rays. When we asked for new imaging before proceeding with such extensive work, that request was refused, which felt unsafe—particularly for a child. I do want to acknowledge that the anesthesiologist was excellent—kind, patient, and took the time to explain everything and answer our questions thoroughly. Unfortunately, that level of care was not reflected by Dr. Becker. She showed little concern for my nephew’s pain or comfort and seemed focused on drilling and pulling teeth rather than reassessing or discussing more conservative options. The overall experience felt rushed and financially motivated rather than child-centered. We left feeling uncomfortable moving forward and chose not to continue treatment. I strongly encourage parents to get a second opinion before agreeing to extensive dental work at this office. We got his work done two hours away and only two teeth had problems. Scams are everywhere, becareful.

I have been going to this dentist for the past 10 years, starting at the Somerset location and now at the Johnstown location and I have to say their service has gone downhill! But let me clarify, the Doctors are EXCELLENT, it is their staff that has been lacking! From miscommunication, to rescheduling appointments and again not communicating! We plan our day around the “given appt time”, and for it to not be fulfilled because they can’t communicate properly between establishments is becoming a pain! And to top it off they know it’s a problem but have yet to fix it!

Constantly cancel appointments day of or day before, messed up multiple dental work, shaved teeth and gave fillings based off of willy-nilly feelings, messed up important procedures. 100%, without a shadow of a doubt, the worst experience I've had with a business, let alone a dentist, ever. The only reason you would go here is because of them hiring every dentist in the local area to have a monopoly over their covering areas, or because of issues with issue providers. If you have the ability to go to a different dentist, PLEASE do it. While they may be fairly nice, I've had nothing but nightmare experiences with their work. (I won't get specific so they can drop me as a client. I cannot go anywhere else.)

The dentist was rude with an attitude. He tried saying that my child had a bunch of cavities, needed a lot of work done, and he said that we should put her to sleep to have the work done. I took her to other dentists to get their opinions. She did not have a bunch of cavities, 2 teeth needed work done, and she did not have to get put to sleep.
