South Jersey Periodontics & Dental Implants is a 100% privately owned periodontal and dental implant practice located at 340 Egg Harbor Road in Sewell, New Jersey. The practice describes its work in two parts: replacing teeth and saving teeth. For tooth replacement, the team places Nobel Biocare dental implants for single tooth, multiple tooth and full arch cases, including the All-on-4 treatment concept, and the practice is recognized as a Nobel Biocare Center of Excellence for All-on-4. For saving teeth, the practice treats gum disease with deep cleanings (scaling and root planing) and the minimally invasive LANAP laser procedure, with the goal of preserving natural teeth and restoring healthy support for long-term stability.

The practice emphasizes working hand in hand with each patient's general dentist so that periodontal and implant care is coordinated from start to finish. Founded in January 2008 by Dr. Daniel Kubikian, the South Jersey Dental Study Club provides accredited continuing education to general dentists and specialists in the region, and its extension, the South Jersey Dental Hygiene Study Club, offers accredited lectures for hygienists; as of 2025 the study club has provided more than 300 credit hours to dental professionals. Dr. Kubikian and the team also teach continuing education courses on LANAP and the All-on-4 concept. The practice provides pro bono care for veterans, survivors of abuse and individuals facing hardship, and notes that a new Washington Manor facility is forthcoming.

Meet the Doctors

The practice's clinical team includes three periodontists. Dr. Daniel Kubikian, DMD, is a board certified Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Pennsylvania. He received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 2001, completed a four year post-graduate program there in periodontics and periodontal prosthesis, is a key opinion leader for Nobel Biocare, and founded the South Jersey Dental Study Club in 2008. Dr. Alli Gilberg, DMD, joined the practice in 2018. She graduated summa cum laude from the Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry in 2016, completed her advanced periodontal training at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, and is Board Eligible with the American Board of Periodontology. Dr. Rebecca Vizzi, DMD, MS, is the newest member of the team and a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree at Nova Southeastern University and completed her post-doctoral training in periodontics at Rutgers University. She grew up in South Jersey.
