The office is in Old Town Pasadena. As soon as you open the door you get the feeling of stepping back in time; old hardwood original floor& molding with warm decor, unlike the usual sterile white walls. The vibe is like coming home to grandma. All of the staff was wonderful & thorough; answered all my questions and made sure I was comfortable during the procedure. During the procedure, Dr Stephen Goei explained step by step what to expect and before I knew it, the procedure was done. I cannot speak enough about this office. I highly recommend them to my family and friends. 5 star 100%

I went for an extraction and I had a great experience at SPOMS. Everyone was so friendly and professional. Maya did an amazing job guiding me through everything and taking my X-rays and Dr. Vakilian made the procedure quick and painless. I’m healing quickly thanks to everyone at SPOMS.

When I walked through the door I was immediately taken care of. Completely. It was quick, everything was explained as it was happening and I was relieved of my bad teeth and made ready for the prostadontist appt. An hour later. Nice people, compitence and very compassionate. These are the people to trust.

SPOMS office was so professional and reassuring through everything. The staff was so very helpful, and nice. The Dr was perfect and kept asking if I had questions and answered all of my questions. The explanations about procedure and cause and what to anticipate was beyond my expectations. The whole visit made a difficult and not fun situation the best it could be. Thanks for the care and attention.

My dentist referred me to Dr. Goei. When I called to make an appointment, they let me know they had an opening the very next day. I was taken to the exam room and was soon greeted by someone who didn’t introduce his title, so I assumed he was the doctor... he wasn’t. When the actual doctor came in, he introduced himself as Dr. Vakilian, not the doctor I had scheduled the appointment with. Dr. Vakilian seemed more interested in hearing himself talk than listening to my explanation of what was happening. While I was trying to ask a question during his lengthy explanation, he literally told me to “please let him finish” and that I could ask questions at the end. It was the worst experience, especially during such a vulnerable moment. I was there for 1 hour and 45 minutes only for him to give me incorrect advice, which I later confirmed through a second opinion.
