I had a great experience with the staff at Southern Arizona Periodontists. They were very patient with me and made the procedure as painless as possible. They listened to my concerns and made sure to put me at ease, the best they could with dental surgery. The staff is so friendly and kind and even make sure to stop by and say hi during your follow up appointments. They even made sure to fit me in for a 'special' follow up appointment when I had additional questions regarding the healing process. Thank you!!

If you’re someone who gets nervous about going to the dentist, this review is for you.
I genuinely do not like anything about going to the dentist, but from the second I walked into Dr. Sharp’s office, I felt safe and comfortable. That alone says everything.
I felt listened to and respected. Stephanie, Dr. Sharp’s assistant, answered every single question I had with patience and kindness. And both Stephanies — the receptionist and the assistant — were absolutely wonderful. Professional, compassionate, and genuinely caring.
This was hands down the best dental experience I’ve ever had. I would recommend Dr. Sharp and her team without hesitation.

I wish I could leave them a hundred positive reviews. Southern Arizona Periodontics with Dr. Sharp and her team was the most compassionate, family-friendly medical experience I’ve ever had. I needed an implant because a combination of shoddy dental work and stress grinding resulted in three cracked teeth. I always have a lot of pain in my jaw and usually some of my teeth. Dental procedures of any kind are awful for me. Dr. Sharp was always careful to make sure I was comfortable and my jaw was entirely free of sensation before she started any work. I always knew exactly what was happening, and they were conscientious about ensuring I was completely healed before moving to the next procedure. Their confidence and carefulness in dealing with the complications of my case, including very little jaw bone depth to work with in the first place, helped reduce a lot of the fear I have around dental surgery. Everyone on staff is incredibly kind and professional. They were really good to my whole family and easy to work with as a mom This was the best place I could have wound up, and I’m grateful for the work they did on a problem that had already caused me a couple years of pain and anxiety before I got the implant. I can’t recommend them enough.

Dr. Sharp is a Da Vinci with the scalple. She does excellent work! The office staff and dental assistants are friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend

Dr. Sharp, her Hygienist Tina, and her wonderful receptionist Stephanie are the absolute best team ever! We moved from Tucson to Tempe in 2021 and we have never missed an apt yet! We come every 3 months and it's like visiting family each time! The 2 hour drive is nothing to get the best care possible! We really look forward to it!
