My dentist referred me to Dr. Tullis and So Co Perio & Implants to consult on 2 teeth with deep pockets and infection. Dr. Tullis confirmed my dentist’s suspension that the teeth needed to me removed. My previous radiation treatment for throat cancer complicated the matter in terms of recovery. Dr Tullis is a real professional and contacted my primary cancer doc to discuss my situation, which I greatly appreciated. During the actual procedure, I was impressed with the teamwork between Dr. Tullis and his dedicated assistant Nikki as the first tooth came out quickly but the second tooth had some strange root that were somewhat challenging to extract. Together they did a great job trying to keep me comfortable while kinda going at it in the back of my mouth. Other than some discomfort of having my mouth open so wide for so long, I didn’t experience any pain from the procedure itself and I’m now more than 48 hours out and still haven’t had pain (or experienced the potential swelling or bleeding) even after reducing the ibuprofen/Tylenol doses. I attribute that to the relatively gently approach Dr Tullis used. At this point I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome and am hoping that my radiation treatment doesn’t hamper my recovery. I’m confident that the treatment plan discussed between Dr. Tullis and my cancer doc will get me where I need to be and I’ll move on with a couple less teeth to maintain. I’d definitely recommend Dr. Tullis and the So Co Perio & Implants team. Thanks to Dr. Tullis, Nikki and Erin for the great service!

I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Tullis and his staff! Everyone in the office is super friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. I was referred to have a gum graft and was really nervous. But everyone in the office, including the receptionist, put me at ease. I called a couple of times before the day of the graft surgery with questions and Erin took the time to answer everything in detail. The day of my procedure I was a little nervous, but Nikki and Sierra explained everything they were doing, took amazing care of me, and made sure I was comfortable. I didn’t feel a thing during the procedure. Dr Tullis is a master at his craft!

While I was not excited about my procedure, I wouldn't go anywhere else but Dr. Tullis. Erin and Nikki were amazing, making me feel so much calmer and both extremely knowledgeable and helpful; Dr. Tullis the best in the business. Thank you SoCo Perio!

SoCo Perio is excellent! From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere was calming and friendly. They obviously focus on expertise AND culture fit when they're hiring. I'm past most of the post-procedural things for my gum graft. It seems to have done an excellent job, thanks to Dr. Tullis and his craftsmanship. Nikki assisted during the procedure and has answered so many of my questions. She's funny and has just the right amount of warmth for someone you want to trust as they move tissue in your mouth around and reattach it somewhere else. I've told the staff I'll refer anyone to them who may need their assistance. My favorite doctor has always been the dentist -- these people are why ;)

I had a procedure done on my gums today. Erin the tech who assisted Dr. Tullis was excellent. She explained everything that would be done, so I felt comfortable and relaxed. Dr. Tullis told me step by step what he was doing. It made me feel confident that everything was going well. The receptionist was friendly, payment and future appointments were quick and easy. I highly recommend Dr. Tullis for your Periodontal needs.
