It is highly recommended you look elsewhere for a dentistry practice. While the hygienists and doctor are friendly, the office staff are least than helpful. As a new patient, I waited several months for an appointment, only to be informed that when I arrived, a new patient appointment does not include cleaning; you need to schedule that separately (not indicated when making my new patient appointment). Additionally, when trying to schedule follow up procedures, there is no availability to do so. It seems that this practice has taken on too many patients, and it cannot meet the needs of their clientele, as scheduling and availability are limited at best. Look elsewhere if you would like to have dental work completed in a reasonable time period.

Very clean facility. Office staff for general dentistry are great. I have had to two dental emergencies and both times, I was fit in the same day and seen by Dr Chin. Have used the periodontal services as well. In- office treatment was excellent but there was a definite lag time in having a periodontal phone message returned regarding a concern with my post extraction healing. All was resolved and I would recommend this office for both general dentistry and periodontal services.

I like this place beacause I came here since little and my tete have improved alot since then. I get compliments on my teeth and how much they have changed. Im very happy and Thank full for your work and i feel very happy that my teeth are getting to the step of getting my braces off. Thank you very much for everything馃檪

This place is super nice! I鈥檓 not sure what their last office looked like, but the entrance and atmosphere alone is five stars. Front desk ladies are wonderful and extremely friendly and helpful. Always scared to go to the dentist but now I feel so comfortable and welcomed! Also, really easy to find and get to, they have their own parking so you鈥檙e not fighting other services in a strip.

I recently had my first appointment as a new patient and everything went very smooth. Everyone is so kind and i felt very welcomed. I went for an orthodontist appointment and all my questions were answered. I鈥檓 so excited to be back for my cleaning and treatment!

Southern Delaware Dental Specialists is a dental office at 410 South Bedford Street in Georgetown, Delaware, located across from the Georgetown Walmart and serving patients throughout Sussex County. The practice describes itself as a specialist office combining orthodontics, periodontics (gum care) and implant dentistry, along with general and esthetic dental services for adults and children. Dental implant care includes single and multiple tooth replacement, bone grafts, and a teeth in a day option, also called immediate load implants, in which temporary fixed teeth can be placed at the same time as the implants or within 24 hours so patients do not have to go without teeth or wear a denture during healing.
According to the practice's website, the office has 11 treatment chairs across 2,800 square feet, is fully digital, and uses cone beam computed tomography (a three dimensional dental scan) and an intraoral scanner to plan implant placement digitally in house rather than referring patients elsewhere or taking manual impressions. Treatment rooms are private and closed, each with a window for natural light. The practice also offers gum disease treatment, gum recession and gummy smile correction, braces and Invisalign, white fillings, veneers and whitening, and states that it accepts most major dental insurances, welcomes walk in and same day emergency visits, offers complimentary consultations, and can communicate with Spanish speaking patients. Hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with Saturday available upon request.
