Excellent experience every time. Techs are very good. Appointments are always on time. Dr. Antonio is great. I broke a tooth while on vacation in Colorado and I called his after hours line. He call right back and had me send a photo via phone. He suggested I get a temporary filling kit at drugstore and walked me through patching up to hold me till I got home. 3 days later he did a great job on the repair. Highly recommend

Long story short, I woke up at 60 yoa and realized that I had taken my teeth to war. I had grinded them, chipped them, lost them and overall my teeth looked like they belonged in the mouth of a guy 100 yoa. It was past time for me to do something. I contemplated going to another country, called places that I had heard about in the US, ran around town and got scores of opinions and treatment plans at hundreds of dollars a pop. I ultimately decided to go with So. Dental and Dr. Fratesi. The choice was the best one I could have made. Dr. Fratesi, from A-Z could not have been better. Sans hyperbole and exaggeration, every single step of the way was A/plus. The price, the service, the attitude, the through explanations, his front office and most important, his incredible focus on perfection. I would also be remiss if I did not mention Temple and Bre, as they too are almost too good to be true. Ultimately, I could go on and on. The bottom line is that I have zero reservations in recommending Southern Dental. If you have any dental issues, big or small, make the call and relax. That place is perfect and you will be very happy with your choice.

I was so relieved when my kids could start going to my dentist. We visited yesterday and as always, Dr. Trammel and his team were amazing. They put my two nervous 13 year olds at ease and took great care of all of us. Today, I realized I never got the school excuses and called. Rebekah (who was a doll as always) helped me immediately and got the excuses emailed to me so I could upload them to the school. I can not say enough good things about how amazing this establishment is. Everyone from the front desk to the dental hygienists to the dentists themselves are kind, compassionate, and amazing to work with. I recommend them any time someone is looking for a dentist. I’d give them 10 stars if I could!

I absolutely love this place. Hate the dental work 😂 but every single person I’ve met so far is phenomenal. And as far as Dr. Fretesi he is absolutely great and gifted in his craft. He does amazing work. Love this guy and all there. Considering a dentist I highly recommend 10/10

I'd heard great things about this practice and needed a second opinion after Aspen Dental tried to get me to take out a $10,000 loan for dental work, supposedly after insurance, despite my plan having only a $1,500 annual maximum (they claimed my insurance provided an $8,000 discount, which makes no sense). After researching, I found overwhelmingly positive reviews for Southern Dental Associates. They had a reputation for being understanding and developing treatment plans that work with patients' budgets, which is exactly what I needed. I scheduled a second opinion appointment for 12/31/25. On the day of the appointment, I realized my dental insurance wouldn't cover X-rays since I'd already reached my imaging limit for 2025. When I informed the receptionist this was a second opinion appointment, she remained professional but seemed increasingly frustrated. Had I known insurance wouldn't cover another X-ray until 2026, I would have scheduled for a different date from the start. The office should have flagged this when I booked; it was a second opinion appointment scheduled for New Year's Eve, literally one day before my insurance reset. I asked about out-of-pocket X-ray costs, but they couldn't provide an exact quote without knowing how many sections would be needed. They explained X-rays were required before any examination. Both of these points were understandable. I asked to reschedule for early January when my insurance would cover it. Friday was unavailable (closed). The following week around 3:30 PM didn't work; they stop scheduling after 2:30 PM. She offered 2:30 PM on January 14th, but I have an active tooth infection currently managed with antibiotics and cannot wait two weeks, as I'll run out of medication before then. She then repeatedly asked if I wanted to cancel the appointment. I clarified multiple times that I wanted to reschedule, not cancel. We went back and forth a few times so I finally said, "Yes, cancel the appointment so I can reschedule. She then cancelled the appointment and asked if there was anything else she could help with. I had to remind her again: "Yes, reschedule the appointment." This back-and-forth suggested she either wasn't listening or was intent on ending the call rather than finding a solution for what was admittedly a difficult situation. I explained I needed a dentist who could accommodate my schedule better. She politely told me to have a nice day and ended the call, clearly ready to move on. Based on reviews highlighting their compassion and flexibility for patients with urgent needs, I was deeply disappointed. I was hopeful this would be where I finally got my dental issues properly addressed. Unfortunately, I'll have to look elsewhere. I'm not saying they are a bad dental office. I'm not even saying the receptionist was totally in the wrong, but I will say I was disappointed given their stellar reputation.
