Second Opinion - A16 year old boy who was 8 days Post-Op from bottom wisdom teeth removal and suffering with pain. We phoned and Mrs. Allison was so kind and understanding. She listened and worked swiftly to get my son an appointment on the same day. They were out of network, but we didn’t care, we were so worried. Our son’s pain was not improving. Dr. Emeric Boudreaux, walked in and introduced himself to us and my son. He was laser focused and paying close attention to our every concern. Dr. Boudreaux explained the X-rays, asked if we had any questions, laid out his plan, obtained our consent and got to work. That “dry socket” he had according to his original Dr. wasn’t dry socket after all. He irrigated the areas diligently and discovered that they were packed with food !! The culprit he said to all of his pain. He explained everything to my son with kindness and understanding and my son felt SAFE and cared for. We cannot say enough positive things about Dr. Boudreaux and the staff at Southern Oral Surgery. Don’t give them a second thought. My son is sooo happy and now wants to attend LSU Dental School to become as awesome of a surgeon as Dr. Boudreaux. Thank you from our family- we will not forget.

I brought my mom for a tooth extraction. She has dementia and is extremely slow. The doctor and staff were so patient; it made a world of difference in my experience. She had a great outcome with the procedure. Minimal pain,swelling. No complications. Thank you

I had an extraction that went very smoothly from the initial consultation to the day after my procedure. Dr Silvia and his team were thoughtful, compassionate, and overall fantastic!

My experience at Southern Oral Surgery was a very pleasant experience. Everyone there was very nice. I am very pleased with how I was treated by the staff. I will be seeing everyone again soon. I am pleased with the work that was done.

The Doctor and the medical staff were excellent. The billing office is rude, incompetent and condescending. I had to make several calls to Dr Silvia's billing staff get them to send my dental records to my insurance so they could be paid. They sent incomplete records causing the insurance to not pay the contracted amount.
