Southpark Oral Surgery is an oral and maxillofacial surgery practice located on Coltsgate Road in the SouthPark area of Charlotte, North Carolina. The practice offers a full range of dental implant solutions, including single tooth implants, implant supported bridges, and All-on-4 style full arch replacement for patients missing some or all of their teeth. In addition to implant placement, the office provides bone grafting to build up the jaw when needed, wisdom tooth removal, corrective jaw surgery, and treatment for facial pain and TMJ disorders. Patients are treated with intravenous or general anesthesia administered by a trained surgical team, which can make more involved procedures more comfortable.

The practice is led by Dr. Kevin P. Bond, a North Carolina native who completed his dental training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his surgical residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Hospitals, and Dr. Wesley McWatters, who trained in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Florida after completing dental school at West Virginia University. Southpark Oral Surgery works closely with referring dentists throughout greater Charlotte to coordinate implant and reconstructive care, and the office accepts most major dental insurance plans. For patients weighing their options for replacing missing teeth, the practice offers both surgical planning and follow up care aimed at restoring function and a natural looking smile.

Meet the Doctors

Dr. Kevin P. Bond, DDS, is the founder of Southpark Oral Surgery. He completed his dental training at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and his surgical residency at Virginia Commonwealth University Hospitals, where he also served as an assistant professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery. Dr. Wesley McWatters, DDS, earned his dental degree from West Virginia University and completed his training in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Florida.
