This is never a fun process, but the staff was fantastic. They did their best to make me comfortable and when a few challenges arose, they handled them with care. Dr. Dillon and his staff are awesome.

I am absolutely impressed by this office. First time here today and by far the greatest experience I’ve had at a dental office. I feel like they genuinely took their time to ensure I got the care I needed. I felt treated like a patient rather than just another dollar. Dr. Dylan is super smart and helped answer some questions as to why I’ve been having sleep apnea/difficulty sleeping for years and has provided new hope that there’s a solution. Everyone here is incredibly genuine and knowledgeable at what they do. The practice is ran very well I am already looking forward to my next visit. Can’t thank them enough

Write a Review I am a person that hates going to the dentist, but Southwest Family Dentistry has helped me overcome my fears. They are all very professional and made me feel very comfortable. They called the next day to see if I had any issues, which shows a caring place. Can we watch a different TV station other then the weather channel. LOL

Southwest Family Dentistry is a general and family dental practice at 389 SW Chapel Hill Street in Lake City, Florida. The practice says it was founded 65 years ago and serves the Lake City community with a range of services, including dental implants, dental crowns, dentures and partial dentures, and dental bridges. The office is open Monday through Thursday from 8am to 5pm, and new patients can request an appointment online or by phone. The practice also offers a membership plan and accepts CareCredit financing.
For patients missing one or more teeth, the practice provides implant dentistry that covers single tooth replacement with an implant and crown, implant supported bridges or partial dentures for multiple missing teeth, and All-on-4 treatment, which restores a full arch of teeth using as few as four implants. Bone grafting and sinus lifts are available for patients who need additional jawbone support before implant placement. The practice states that it uses 3D imaging and computer guided implant placement to plan and place implants, and the implant process begins with a consultation to assess oral health and discuss goals before a customized treatment plan is created.
The practice is led by Dr. John A. Batlle, III, DMD, and Dr. Dylan H. Batlle, DMD. Dr. John Batlle earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Florida in 1979, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, and received his Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry in 1983. He served 26 years in the U.S. Navy Reserve Dental Corps, retiring as a Captain, and has held courtesy faculty appointments at the University of Florida College of Dentistry in Community Dentistry and Endodontics. He is a member of the North Central Florida International Team for Implantology Study Club, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the American, Florida, and Alachua County Dental Associations. Dr. Dylan Batlle graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in Nutritional Sciences and earned his dental degree at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, followed by a one year Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency at the University of Connecticut Health Center. He has practiced in Lake City since 2022 and is a member of the American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Central District Dental Association, and Academy of General Dentistry.
