I couldn’t recommend Dr. Harris and his team more if I tried! They were absolutely wonderful from start to finish. They squeezed me in for a tooth extraction, and while I didn’t have to wait terribly long, I would gladly wait any day for the kind of care and service they provided. Dr. Harris even stayed late to help me, which truly meant so much. Everyone was so kind, professional, and caring. Phenomenal experience at the Thomasville location!

Leaving 3 stars because I love Dr. Harris’ personality & his expertise. However, some of his staff really need to reconsider other employment. As a front desk receptionist or secretary or whatever your title may be, you’re the first point of contact for patients entering into an establishment or the first voice they hear over the phone if you’re the one answering of course. This woman, whoever she is, is downright unnecessarily rude. I encountered her first in Moultrie at my consult & experienced her rudeness, called to verify my surgery this morning in Thomasville & was still trying to ask a question & got hung up on. I had to call back to finish what I was trying to ask. Luckily, someone else answered & stated she was at another office.
Upon checking in for my surgery, the window was closed with clipboards there while she was on the phone. I get it, she was on a call with a patient. But it doesn’t take 2 seconds to look up & mouth “just a minute”, hold your hand up & smile, or something other than just sitting there with a patient waiting to check in & not knowing if they need to complete the paperwork or not. As I started filling the paperwork out, another WAY friendlier lady came to the window & told me I didn’t have to fill it out.
Then I accidentally left my receipt that was in an envelope for me where I paid my deposit over the phone when I stepped behind in the area to sign for paying my balance. So I go back up to the counter to get it. I’m standing there. This lady slides the window open, I have my hand out to get the envelope, she lays it on the counter as if she can’t place it in my hand. Wow Lol.
But the man that came in shortly after me was greeted & spoken to kindly, just like she did in Moultrie. Seems prejudiced to me. But the patients are the ones who help keep a job for you to go to everyday. Whoever you are, you need to fix your nasty attitude & your face. I pray things get better for you, whatever is making you so miserable & hateful.

Best experience I’ve ever had in a dental office! Totally explained the procedure and what to expect. I felt at ease and was expertly taken care of. Highly recommended this dentist for any oral surgery you may need.

About Southwest Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, LLC
Southwest Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, LLC in Thomasville, GA offers dental implants as part of its surgical services, including All-on-4 and full-arch treatment options for patients missing one or more teeth. The practice explains that dental implants replace the tooth root and provide a stable foundation for a crown, bridge, or denture, with the implant placed securely in the jawbone to support a natural-looking result. Care typically begins with an exam and imaging to plan a safe approach, and some patients may need additional support, such as bone grafting, before implants can be placed.
The Thomasville office coordinates with patients' general dentists to help create a smooth path from surgical treatment to the final restoration. Sedation options may be discussed and made available when appropriate to help patients feel comfortable during treatment. Beyond implants, the practice also handles related oral surgery needs such as wisdom teeth removal, tooth extractions, and TMJ evaluation, which can be relevant for patients preparing for or recovering from implant treatment.
