I felt very welcomed at this practice! Everyone was friendly and made sure that I was well taken care of! Dr Johnson is amazing! The after care instructions that were given are very detailed and thorough! I was in no pain after the surgery and even after the medicine wore off. It’s day 1 post surgery and I feel great! I’d definitely recommend this place 100%!

Best oral surgery experience in my life!
I have had a ton of dental trauma. I have PTSD from having my wisdom teeth out due to a, then undiagnosed, connective tissue condition and an intolerance of some anesthesia. Somehow, Dr Johnson was able to sedate me and do the procedure without triggering any adverse reactions whatsoever! I am virtually pain free 24 hours later and still stunned at the ease of this procedure.
Thank you to the staff and to Dr Johnson for their exceptional care for me. I highly recommend Stafford Oral Surgery!

My 10 year old daughter had a frenectomy procedure done this past Friday. The visit started off fine with the assistant taking her blood pressure, answering our questions, etc. I had to tell them again about medications that my daughter cannot have due to a rare condition. It was frustrating that it was not in the system already after I know I gave them the list at our consultation this past summer. The surgeon came in and we exchanged pleasantries. She (the surgeon) began to inject the numbing medication. I noticed her shaking a little but not horribly, I attributed it to focusing on a small mouth. While this was happening, I stood at my daughters feet, rubbing her legs, telling her she's so brave. She is not able to have the topical numbing medication before the shot due to her condition. I did ask the surgeon if she was going to be getting all the medication in the needle or just a little but did not get a response. The doctor even commented that she had never done that w/ out numbing the gums first. After she was done with the shot, the surgeon told me that I would have to sit down. I was taken back by her approach but I was totally fine with that because I honestly had not planned on standing there the entire time. The surgeon left the room to give the medicine time to work. She came back in and grabbed the scalple to cut a little to see if she was numb enough. The surgeon was shaking horribly. She asked my daughter is she felt that which I then asked if she was ok because she was shaking so bad. She said that I was making her anxious and left the room again. When she returned she asked if I would mind waiting outside the room. I said NO, absolutely not. She then said that she would have to get another Oral Surgeon. Another surgeon came in and finished the procedure with no issues of me being in the room and even was able to give my daughter stitches that would last a lot less longer than the ones the other surgeon said she would be giving her. I understand that parents may not usually be in the room while this procedure is being conducted but I was never told that was the case. I could have prepared myself and my daughter or chose to not use this surgeon. However, I do not think having a Mom in the room with her daughter should make an established Oral Surgeon so nervous that she's shaking like a leaf.

I love Stafford Oral surgery. The staff is fantastic but Dr Kanasi is the greatest. My procedures haven’t always worked in my favor, but Dr Kanasi is a problem solver and so easy to work with. I Just adore her!

I have had 2 surgeries done by Dr. Johnson and this amazing team and had a phenomenal experience. I am somebody who is very afraid of dentists/oral surgeons but the team here will put you at ease! I got 2 wisdom teeth surgeries done (one side and then the other) and even though I was super nervous both times, the staff did everything to help me feel calm. They even let my fiancé come back with me to help me get settled. From the front desk, to the technicians, to nurses, to Dr. Johnson, they are the BEST! HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend and book with Dr. Johnson!!
